  1. Thank you so much for bumbling along John, you added some wonderful subjects in 1/72nd that I still appreciate greatly! Cheers, Herb
  2. agree, worth the battle, the result is excellent!
  3. Outstanding Fuad! You got the best out of that kit!
  4. "Duels in the Sky" by Capt Eric Brown is an excellent comparison of WWII naval aircraft. (It has an F4U and Fw-190 on the cover, so again probably not your quest...)
  5. You certainly brought the most possible out of that Execuform kit! Appreciated the build sequence greatly...
  6. Beautiful job, nice kit. Looking forward to seeing their P.11 series...
  7. I've got both the Gran and Interavia kits. They look very similar, and both are awful. I salute your courage to undertake either as a project!
  8. Kudos for tackling the intake problem. Everything else will seem easy next to that...!
  9. Thank you so much for this build log! Your scratch-built subjects are unquestionably wonderful, but seeing you step through the modifications to an existing (and very humble) kit is perhaps more applicable to those of us among the unwashed masses! Cheers, Herb
  10. Just lovely, once again! Apologies if you've addressed this before, but what is your preferred method for making that very nice metal finish? Are you an Alclad user? Cheers, Herb
  11. Lovely job Ignacio! Really like the realistic weathering you've done...
  12. Sweet build! Nothing better than seeing a humble kit like this one transformed into a real scale model! Thanks for sharing!
  13. I built the Heller kit and was satisfied despite its raised detail. That didn't last long, so I sawed off the nose and grafted it to a suitably modified Airfix 109E. Now I see this beauty, and realize that I better start over one more time and finally get it right... Thanks for sharing, you've done a magnificent job!
  14. Super! Really like the lesser-seen markings...
  15. Recently abandoned 'Eggplant/Aubergine' single colour uppers? Abandoned for the Fullback, or other types too? Love to know more, and the likely replacement scheme... thx Herb
  16. Beautiful! ...and totally unsurprising for you! Thanks for sharing your good work! Herb
  17. Heading there on vacation this month, always looking for local plastic! Cheers, Herb
  18. Your considerable skills deserve a better canvas! I strongly recommend a Roden/Toko/Eastern Express/Eduard kit for your next 1/72 biplane subject, the results will be much more satisfying...! Cheers, Herb
  19. Outstanding job! I like very much the way you kept the yellow toned down to a realistic hue. Everybody screws that up, including me! Cheers, Herb
