  1. Hell it must be nearly tea time!!!!
  2. Nice pictures, and a pleasant change from boring F-whatevers.
  3. Is your model one of the first issue kits in the black box, or a later one like mine? I had thought about the Simpsons scheme, but my brain hurts as it is
  4. Finally decided to do this one and build the Easyjet one next. Probably one of the best of the Utopia schemes. I don't know where the photo came from originally, as it's been on my HD for ages.
  5. Nice one Jesse. As has been said before, please show us more. Chris.
  6. Hi Craig. Totally agree, but the decals supplied with the kit do include the in-spar panels. Have a look at the box top picture. I think they are much better than the aftermarket offerings in this particular instance. Chris.
  7. Nice build there Ben. I like the simple Piedmont colour scheme. Very classy. Chris
  8. Now then!!!!!! This is simply superb
  9. Not many people have Karl. A bit of the shrinking violet syndrome me thinks. Did you get the pics by the way?
  10. I know, bit of a shock to me as well. Better kick off with something sensible, and as soon as I've chosen the livery it will be straightforward. ( I hope)
  11. I need to get something finished and have lost a bit of enthusiasm for my current works in progress so I've decided to get this on built. Still trying to decide which scheme to use, but I've narrowed it down to Easyjet or one of the B.A. world schemes. I'll post some progress pictures soon. Chris.
  12. I would have to make my own decals for some of it and whilst I'm sure I could do it, I would hate to spoil the build if I cocked up with the decals. Ta Tim. Tim. I have a set of decals from the later issue with the prototype markings if these would help? Chris.
  13. I could send you some in the post. but the shipping charges would outewigh the cost of the lead
  14. Got one on the go at the moment, and I found that enough nose-weight can be installed by replacing the fuselage bulkhead with a piece of code 5 lead sheet and laying three or four sheets of the same on the floor behind the crew seats. Painted black, you will never see it especially through the cockpit windows as they are so damn small. Just my way around the problem, but it worked. Chris.
  15. Sorry about the de-railment, but you started it Any time you're not using them, I'll give 'em a go. Cheers.
  16. I'm sure we can work something out. Cheers.
  17. Well now. Looks as though I'm going to have to get some curved scribing templates to finish the fuselage. Someone did offer to let me have a go with their set to see if they would help, but you know how it is!!!!!!!!!!
  18. The DC-6 is superb, one of the nicest schemes a Six has worn. I'll have to dig out my Heller kit now, so any chence of a couple of high res pics of Sierra Alpha to refer to please? Chris.
  19. That's great - thanks. The drawings are absolutely lovely, I'd like to see the whole thing! Cheers. I'll scan a bit more later. That's the largest portion I can get on the scanner though, hence the need for printed copies. Glad they will be of help. Chris.
  20. Thanks for the coments Mike. I think a bit more work will be in order before I put them up for scrutiny by our modelling friends here on the board though. I'll get a set organised for you asap. Chris.
  21. Hi Anthony. I do have the drawings, but they are on three fairly large sheets. I will be happy to have them copied for you and send them over. Just let me know. Chris.
