  4. Hi Andrew. Try here for some excellent replacement engines. http://www.hahen.info/catalog/index.php?cP...t52836m94cps8k1 Chris.
  5. And Interflug livery I presume? LOL Chris.
  6. I think it's something in the air. LOL Particularly around Hawarden. Chris.
  7. It reminds me of the Fauvel AV-36 and to a lesser degree the AV-22. Both of which I was lucky enough to fly a few years ago. I can remember that roll control of the AV36 was nicely harmonised, but pitch control took a bit of getting used to and aerotow was interesting. Good luck with the build. Chris.
  8. Thanks for posting these pics Mark. Much appreciated. Chris.
  9. I see what you mean Nick. I did try your method once, but found that there was very little margin for error when carving the prop profiles. I'm looking forward to seeing your results. Cheers for now. Chris.
  10. Hi Nick. You may find it easier to cut all of the blanks to a constant size and shape and then laminate them. By drawing the front view and side view on the laminated block it is easy enough then to carve and sand. This will give you the correct contour lines if the laminations. I used to hand carve props for R/C scale models and found this to be the easiest method. Chris.
  11. Go for it Nick. Don't leave us in suspenders!!!!!!!!! Chris.
  12. Thought you had done a runner, but I guess moving house is excuse enough.LOL How is the Wellington diorama coming alon Nick, or have I missed it somwhere along the line? Chris.
  13. I have admired all of your builds here on Britmodeller, and this is another real beauty. Thanks. Chris.
  14. Hi Chris. There was a cracking build article on the Airfix Tucano in one of the magazines about twelve months ago. The author made the "Det" cord out of wire and glued it to the inside of the canopy. I'll try and find the article and give you more to go on. Chris.
  15. Nice one Neil. It doesn't look as though airliner models have taken the edge off your skills at all. See ya soon Matey. Chris.
  16. Both a bit sexy!!!!!!!! Thanks for posting Chris.
  17. Quite right Ray. I completely forgot about that one. Thanks for pointing it out. I haven't seen one yet in the flesh as it were, but it looks like another nice one from Kurt. Cheers. Chris.
  18. You only have the two options mentioned unfortunately. The Minicraft kit can be partially corrected by using the Braz resin nose and tail parts together with the replacement engines. The Welsh vac form kit has the most accurate fuselage although it has a rather strange wing root section. There are however some very nice decals included in the Welsh kit, but these dont justify the price. I think it is far too expensive for what you get. Perhaps a combination of both kits will result in a suitably accurate model, but at a price. I guess it all depends on how badly you want one. I can't see another 757 being released by a main stream manufacturer. Chris.
  19. Anything in the Windsock datafiles Mike? Chris.
  20. Cellulose is great for starting bonfires. Isn't it Mike? LOL Chris.
