  1. Very nice. I do prefer the Razorback, suits the P47s character better.
  2. Dirty British coaster with a salt-caked smoke stack, Butting through the Channel in the mad March days, With a cargo of Tyne coal, Road-rails, pig-lead, Firewood, iron-ware, and cheap tin trays. Beautiful build.
  3. I don't think there will ever be a more beautiful Ferrari. Stunning build.
  4. Sorry, what country is this? Not very obvious...
  5. Very nice. Not what I expected to see, presumed it was going to be something from the PLAN covered in missiles.
  6. Funny you should say that. Sharpe's Escape (The Book) features a character called Rifleman Dodd, who gets separated from the Regiment. Cornwell said that he was meant to be the same Rifleman Dodd from Forester's Book.
  7. Beautiful build. Needs a new mould though, considering the amount of use it got.
  8. Very nice build. I loved the Monogram 1/48 kits, at the time (1980s) they were light years ahead in terms of detail compared to the "vintage" Airfix kits on the shelves.
  9. Very nice. Until the red stars went on it could have been a 1930s American racer.
  10. Reminds me of the old joke: "Your Honour, I am innocent and being persecuted for my beliefs" "And what would those be?" "I believed that the money in the bank vault should be in a holdall under my bed, and that Big Ernie was a decent getaway driver"
  11. Very nice. I once looked in to convering the Airfix Skyvan and had second thoughts...
  12. Is it just the photo or is there something odd about the shape of the helmet?
  13. Very nice. I built this in the original Monogram box around 40 years ago, and it had a stunning amount of detail compared to contemporary kits. It was designed for a tail prop - a set of steps under the rear crew hatch. I went with nose weight and struggled to get enough in, that glazed nose leaves nowhere to hide and I had to pack it in to the nacelles.
  14. A word of warning. This kit takes a huge amount of weight to sit on the nose wheel, and the main undercarriage on mine couldn't cope and eventually collapsed so it now sits in a plasticard cradle.
  15. I recall stuffing the nose the nacelles and the cowlings with weight to get the beast to sit on three legs.
  16. Very nice build. I cant help feeling they got someone else to design the horizontal tail, it lacks the style of the rest of the aircraft.
  17. That's very nice indeed. I love the "make it work, don't worry about pretty" style of Soviet 1960s aircraft - Though the MiG 21 is pretty.
  18. Lovely build. Not as pretty as the DC3, but has much more character (and the DC3/C47 only managed prototypes on floats)
  19. Stunning build. Currently re-watching UFO and it is more realistic than the filming models. All those stencils, There must have been a maintenance crew we never saw in the show. I bet they didn't wear sparkly uniforms and purple wigs 😉
  20. Nice build. Looks like an S6B with wheels instead of floats.
  21. Very nice build. Wish I had the space for 1/32 and 1/24.
  22. Beautiful build. Looking at those stats: average speeds of 70mph! Astonishing, the ladies must have been fainting from the excitement.
