Nice kit, nice decals, nice change of pace!
Nice build!

-
Very very good - is that the original cockpit as I do not remember the one with the "9" being as detailed!
David.
There is a bit more detail in the new kit David, especialy in the area behind the seat.
-
As far as I can recall the French built a single prototype of the Jag M to test for their carrier fleet but that was as far as it got. Not sure why the project got shelved

-
May I be the first to say...Nice Beaver!

Ok, I'll leave of my own accord, there's no need to throw me out

-
Very nice work Stephane, incredible subtlety with the weathering and panel lines.
This one will be a stunner when you've finished.
-
She looks sweet so far Bill, can't wait to see her in some shiny silver paint!
-
Stunning work Clive, glad to see this project is alive and well. Is there anything you're short of reference-wise?
-
I'm sure we can forgive you for posting a non-Brit jet when she looks that good

BTW, nice avatar!
-
(And guess who's got a few "in stock"!!!)
Is that 'in stock' as in for sale or in the stash Bill?
-
Indeed, we could do with a 21st Century quality 1st gen Harrier in all 3 scales.....Trumpeter's forthcoming 1/32 Harriers are 2nd gen IIRC.
Perhaps they'll get around to it yet. He said, praying.

-
Cheers Colin, hopefully we'll see some more progress on your firefly soon.
No danger of much happening this weekend mate
but thanks for keeping her in mind.At this rate you'll have a cracking late mark Spit in your display cabinet by Monday

-
Open question - do you think there's mileage in an "early RAF Harrier" decal sheet, if so what schemes/aircraft?
Anything Harrier gets my vote Jonathan! Be nice to see a couple of the very early GR-1s in the gloss finish and at least one in the 'winter' white scheme.
Then all we'd need is a decent bang-up-to-date kit to stick them on to.
-
This is something I've been thinking about for a while Geoff, gonna have a wee surf over there once I've finished here. Cheers for the heads-up

-
Yikes, sounds as if you've got your work cut out for you there Oliver!
Let's be having those photos so we can see how you're getting on

-
Here's a new title from Mushroom Models that may be of interest to you Miroslav
Also, if you let me know your email address I'll send you some files I have on the computer that should help with the interior details.
-
Nice rebuild! Do like the new Serbian markings as well.
-
Ta Mike - stopped taking the anti-biotic's at the weekend - due to some unpleasant side affects!! Don't Ask!! The leg is still sore , still red and shiny!! BUT I managed to get a pair of socks on today!! 1st time in nearly FOUR Weeks!!
Ouch! What on earth have you done to yourself Bill?
-
Nice work there Sivcev, good to see some subtle weathering on civil aircraft models as the real thing sure ain't as clean as most modellers represent them!
-
As far as I can see there are no detail sets available for this kit so it's a case of scratch-building with the help of some generic sets such as seat-belts and instrument bezels. I'm about to start looking for such items myself shortly (got two Airfix 48th scale Fury's in the stash looking for attention soon), in the meantime I'll look out some other references that may be useful for you.
-
If you can tell us a bit more about what you need to know I'll have a look through my references Miroslav. In the meantime here's the first thing that comes to hand
-
Now that's a nice set-up Mike! Time I had a rummage in the shed for some spare bits of wood and associated tools methinks.
Thanks for the kind words chaps, it's taken a while to get this far. As for references Matt, Edgar was kind enough to lend me a set of photos he took and that's been my main resource. This is one unpopular aircraft as far as good detailed photos go.
As for the wing-folds, they were never under serious consideration as I quite like the overall shape of the Firefly and felt seeing the wings in their folded position doesn't do her justice. Ahem, nothing to do with wimping out of yet more scratch-building you understand.
Now if you'll excuse me I'm off to burn my fingers and destroy various household items in a continued attempt to produce a usable set of canopies. If someone would be so kind as to notify the Fire Brigade...

-
Jeez Gary, you're not having much luck with starting your projects mate. If you want to return to the Bucc I have the Neomega 'pit you can use. It'll be a while before I get a chance to build the three in my stash and you can send me another once they come back into stock.
-
That's the first time I've seen one painted up and have to say it looks rather nice. Of course, the fact it was so well done helps. Cracking build so far mate

-
All good work mate but there's just something about the DH-89 that always puts it head and shoulders above other civilian aircraft for me.
I've seen some of the Aeroclub kits on Ebay going for stupid money lately, shame as I might be tempted to tackle one if they weren't so expensive.
A Beaufighter collection...

Ooooooohh, those are nice!
Favourites? First three, in that order. All good though, think I need to visit the LMS the morn :whistling:
