  1. You can certainly turn out a nice Japanese subject or two Ian, must have quite a growing collection now?
  2. Looks as if he has his father's talents. You've every right to be proud of his work

    Camel

Think there's some websites you could visit for that mate. Perhaps Mike or Bob can point you in the right direction
  4. Pity you didn't keep it up, interesting site and well laid out. Love the SHAR 2 build as well
  5. Can we rename this one Lucy? Go on Mike, you know you want to. Er, rename it I mean!
  6. Since I wouldn't know whether you'd spelt it wrong you needn't loose any sleep over that one mate I do know that most Hurricane nightfighters I've seen had their shields mounted lower down and further forward, pretty much along the lower join line of the same panel I think. P.S. just did a spell-check and it was close enough if you actually give a Oh wait, excuse the unfortunate choice of terminology there
  7. And on behalf of those who do, cheers for the reminder Spike
  8. Did wonder about that, not at all knowledgeable about that era but I'm sure someone can keep us right.
  9. I forgot you were going through that, tomorrow I take it? Good luck and hope it helps you get cured, not an experience I'd wish on anyone. Remember to take some very soft cushions for the drive home afterwards
  10. Oooh, it seems our best buddies have fallen out. Awww, shame Anyway, enough of them and their tiff. Can't say I come across what I assume are those glare shields (?) in front of the windscreen before.
  11. You know Mike, I think he only does that to keep you from getting any model making time
  12. Looks as if they got the length of the para-brake housing correct as well and all for only £2. Even when Revell do release an FGA. 9 this could still be an essential bit of kit.
  13. I hear some Mach 2 kits need a bit of work doing to them Seriously though, cracking thread and as Mike says, a valuable resource for novice and experienced modeller alike.
  14. Best box-art I've seen from Hasegawa for a while, should shift quite a few units on the strength of that alone.
  15. Glad to see normal service has resumed Bryan, although I think I'll give that scratch-build project a miss for the time being thanks.

    ML407

    So she's a proper warbird,
  17. The building is turning out pretty well Kyrre, although the Panzer looks as if it's spent the weekend sitting in a Dundee council estate!
  18. Sea Harriers, that's what we need.
  19. Two nice builds Mike but seems I'm the only one who prefers the Soviet scheme.
  20. Yes that's right, in fact I think all the export machines were so equipped. Mind you, they may tool another fuselage at a later date to represent the RAF machines. Isn't that quite a rare kit these days? I heard they changed the tooling to represent the Demon.
  21. I was thinking that as well but I can almost hear my wallet trying to find a hiding place.
  22. Very tasty Leigh! Was gonna ask for more pictures but then clicked on the link to your build
  23. She looks fine to me Leigh, goes well with the Sea Fury in the background.
  24. There looks to have been a considerable amount of work gone into this one Len, she's turning out very nice
  25. Not to mention huge kit stashes! Mind you, with that combination doubt if I'd be building too many models either
