Good to see you getting a start on this one. Is there room to add some rudimentary scratch-built cameras or coerce some aftermarket ones into service?

Any greater joy with getting paint on this one Roland?

Stop doing that and you'll have more time for working on kits

An interesting subject choice Martin

It's a pity this one was released at a time when the quality of Revell's kits and decal sheets were not matched by their instructions.

Your research on this one seems significantly better than HobbyBoss bothered to do.

Best of good luck with this one Stefan. Not seen the Roden kit before now so will be watching your progress and looking forward to your thoughts on it.

This one certainly looks to be coming together well when you get some time to it Julian.

Looks good Alistair and thankfully there was no other damage after all your hard work.

I’m extrapolating here, if the shields were multi hued then why not the chests.
Seems fair enough.

Nice work Dave
Will we get a group photo of them all sometime?

Given how much magnification you're showing these photos at I'm thinking the view from standard eyes will be grand.

If those tip decals do work it'll save a lot of careful masking and painting.

Good save on the damaged decal and I doubt the real machine was absolutely pristine and perfect during all its service life

Your care and attention to all those small details may seem slow progress but the results are worth all that effort

Persevering with your sea base has yielded a great result Alan. Nice work.

Does this take you up to the point where you're ready for the initial painting phases?

The Viggen is certainly a radical set of shapes and does look rather cool. Hopefully you'll not need too many rounds of fill/sand/repeat before it's ready for paint.
