Slow progress continues. Slowly. The canopies are on and now I'm adding a few of the smaller details around the airframe The early tapered tube exhausts have also been made by heating and stretching some tube

It's always good to see an uncommon subject getting attention and you've picked a worthy and lovely example -

Beautiful subject choice Alex. Have you decided which colour scheme you will finish this one in? As for the rigging - there's an SBS Model etched metal set that may be of interest to you https://www.hannants.co.uk/product/SBS48063?result-token=F4R0o -

There must be a strong breeze coming from the starboard side -
Is this the markings you have chosen for your current project?

I'm really hoping we get a gallery showing everything from the initial YF-16 light-weight fighter concept through to the latest fully loaded versions from this GB.

You're on the list Wez. Delighted to have you aboard Don't let @Enzo the Magnificent see you say that!

Fine work and so neatly done

Know exactly what you mean and an STGB is always a good way to make it happen in good company.

After ten years of planning you'll be ready for this GB

Perhaps as well as scanning and photographing a subject or subjects they were also taking time to access documentation and records on their selected subjects that are particular to the museum archives?

You are in John

Personally I feel 1/32nd scale will suit many interwar types and the Schneider racers in particular but the market is never going to be enough for the likes of Eduard to justify the expense of tooling up such kits

Regardless of the fit issues present in the kit you're getting it together nicely -
Nice work on the stand Stu.

You clearly need more kits to avoid the agony of choice and get greater value from this decal sheet Steve

Tidy work Dermot. The colours look great and the rigging seems fine to me.

Added a little extra detail inside the canopy last night The lamps still need fitted to their triangular mounting brackets but think that'll be enough. There's a couple of minor external bits and pieces still to make and add around the airframe but my main thoughts are on creating the early style open exhaust pipes for each engine.

Hmm, no, too risky boss. One slip of the knife and that's a ruined kit. Best buy another V-156 instead -
I'm pretty much just going to echo Dennis' comment above. You've picked a cracking subject @reini

One of the main advantages of an all-encompassing Group Build subject such as this is the variety of subjects it encourages. Nice choices Paul
