Good save on the tailplane. Seeing the lozenge on one wing really changes the look considerably. -
Tidy work again.

Airfix HMS Hotspur with brass knobs on- awaiting the tide off KUTA

Although I'm sad to learn you won't be continuing this one here I can also fully understand your desire to not continue with too many concurrent projects. Ultimately you've made the right decision; better to finish somethings to the best of your abilities than nothing at all or spoil all the great work you've done already.- 41 replies

Good to see this one fitted together without much recourse to filler Steve -
I'd say you got the wash right Mick; the reduced light penetration within the confines of the cockpit once everything is together requires details to be accentuated in order to be visible and all your work to remain worthwhile so you were right to go with the dark wash.

Nice progress Steve. The small blisters were part of the transfer system from the leading edge fuel cells if my memory serves correctly. -
That's a rather nice start Mick. Good work

Sexy Argentine Corsair: 1/72 Italeri F4U-5
Col. replied to ModelingEdmontonian's topic in The Salty Sea Dog GB
There's something about Gloss Sea Blue on a Corsair that just looks so 'right' in my personal opinion and with these markings it'll look even better; nice subject choice M.E. I am, however, wondering why you're awaiting the Revell kit before proceeding any further?- 42 replies

Col. replied to psdavidson's topic in The Salty Sea Dog GB
Nicely done Peter. Kits were made to be built and this one looks immeasurably better from your work that it ever would sat in a box. -
It's nothing a little tidy up work won't sort and only stands out when everything else is so clean and tidy.

Good progress Jon and hopefully you've enough paint for the job. That size comparison across your various ship types is quite astonishing. -
