  1. That looks great - especially given the amount of time taken. I'd love to see another vehicle - the more the merrier.
  2. Another Blitz cracker - it looks very good.
  3. That's what happens with a Blitzbuild - you promise yourself to keep it simple, and before long that notion has flown out of the window.
  4. Rita's had a squirt of primer now that the seams are reduced. Bob's progressing, just need to work out how to make sure the arms can go on and still get him into the seat. Session time - 60 minutes Total build time - 1 hour 34 minutes
  5. ye Gods! It looks like it's made from the kind of material that laughs in the face of normal plastic cements and glues, and even metal files. I trust you have something a little stronger then egg nog to fortify your resolve on this one.
  6. I'm sure there was a Hammer Horror where an arm wouldn't die - perhaps this is the remake?
  7. Only one small session today, (so far) - taking off mould seams is not my favourite modelling task. Rita looks a bit worried about Bob's driving technique. You can see a kind of 'before and after' here. Session time - 34 minutes Total build time - 34 minutes
  8. I spotted it yesterday - will defo be going there next week if we can - thanks for the heads up.
  9. We've escaped our normal Christmas hubbub by decanting to Mablethorpe this year, so my Blitzenbuild has a much reduced access to modelling paraphernalia. Added to this my ever-so lovely offspring bought me a wet palette for Father's Day, and I must get around to trying it out. I avoid figure painting if I can, and my previous Blitz of the Beach Buggy needs some human involvement as per the box-top, so you could kind of count this as a KUTA as well. With all the bases covered, I'll be starting once we've walked the whippet, and raided the Co-op for supplies. Four pieces of plastic only!
  10. Good luck with it - I think the excellent box artwork is a bit cheeky considering the contents though, 😊.
  11. There's some nice looking detail in that little fellow - good start.
  12. And of course if you run out of time during the Blitzbuild, you can slide seamlessly into the KUTA and continue there.
  13. Love a Gnat, good luck with the yellow finish. @Hockeyboy76 might have something to say about the lack of pink primer though.
  14. Going for the safe and easy option again eh! Good luck with it - looking at images on the internet, it even looks like there is a small amount rigging involved. 😀
  15. That’s a lovely looking build for my money. Well presented, and your photography shows it off beautifully. The mixture of different materials is a feast for the eyes.
  16. I don’t know about the circumstances of the purchase, but I have a soft spot for the Hellenic Air Force - long may they be flying modern equipment, (and hopefully the F4s for a few years to come)
  17. Hi, yes - he came back in shortly afterwards - I think these old F4s have a mind of their own sometimes.
