  1. Dug it out from the stash, and had forgotten it was the R3D-2 boxing. No matter, the parts are the same, markings shouldn't be too tricky to mask, apart from the tail, as it is a captured aeroplane. The resin looks well-endowed with air bubbles, so I'll be washing everything down a little later to have a look-see.
  2. Fantastic build - even if you didn't use the pink primer.
  3. Great fun and great builds on display whether they got done or not - time to relax.
  4. I like it - going to have a little tipple in a moment as a salute to your rigging! To your good health as well.
  5. One of Airfix's re-releases. Really enjoyed this one, great little kit.
  6. Gone as far as my patience will allow - supper was sausage pasta with more pie. All in all a very enjoyable little kit, thanks to everyone who looked in.
  7. Seeing these old Airfix Classics getting built up makes it difficult not to add them the stash - it looks great.
  8. Lunch was avocado on sourdough, with raspberry and blueberry frangipani - yum yum. Turret is about done, road wheels have been matted, and need to dry a bit. Washing to come next on the hull. Dreaded tracks will be last. Just realised the time on the camera is an hour out - d'oh.
  9. Theatre comes first! Good luck with the black finish.
  10. Lovely job - it'll look stunning when it's done.
  11. Phew! Yellow pages removed from trousers.
  12. Looking very good - hope it is coming together today.
  13. Started early this morning - no point keeping tabs on the time anymore as there aren't enough hours left in the day. Most assembly is done, painting has started - just having a rest for a spot of something to eat. Lovely little kit really, and glad there is no airbrush action on this one. The primer on the tracks was a waste of time - it's flaking off everywhere - more unnecessary work .
  14. Love it, give it a dose of primer and there's no going back
  15. Another short session and a few more bits tidied, and a little bit of filling done. Session time = 51 minutes Elapsed time = 3 hours 28 minutes
  16. Thanks - hoping the hairy sticks are still working as I am away from the airbrush this weekend. Another small session of assembly and cleaning parts up gets us here - helped by a tasty cheese and onion roll or two. Slow progress really, but keeping at it. Session time = 1 hour 42 minutes Elapsed time = 2 hours 37 minutes
