lovely pics. Interested by the Canberra. Who owns it and was it flying or static?
hi Seahawk, thank for the kind words. XH314 (G-OMHD) flew in late on Friday, and taxied straight into the static display area - don't know if it did anything on Saturday as I wasn't there. It is out of Kemble and the intention is to get it back on the display circuit as far as I know - can't wait!

I do like the flares, pity they don't allow them at Fairford now.
Missed shot award of the century, to me. Swiss aerobatic team F5's heading straight for the crowd at an airshow in Switzerland where at the end they pull up and fanburst out, firing flares off as thy pull up. I had put my camera down " I've taken enough of this lot, nothing else will happen now"!
DOH!!!!
I agree with the flares - it seems like a lot of shows don't allow them which is a shame - and have done the same thing numerous times when you think a display is done and dusted and the pilot decides otherwise!
Thanks for your kind comments guys - off to RIAT for arrivals tomorrow so hopefully there will be something to see...

Crisp, clean build and lovely paint finish as well.
Really like this.

Oh , to be blessed with those skies at IAT!
Oh yes! - would be great if we could have a few days of this down at Fairford for a change.
I attended Waddington for two days in 2009 and i concur with your friend 'you are very, very lucky'
nice pics by the way
Cheers
Thanks - my mate Rob bemoans the fact that Avalon is every two years, and now the F-111's have gone the show is a little bit "samey". Hopefully he got some nice shots - I think the variety gave him a bit of head spin!

Remember that Pavla released a resin kit a few years ago, so the Airfix kit is [][definitely[/i] obsolete.
The Pavla kit of the S.6B/S.6A has an alternative rudder, (different outline and trim-tab) so I guess that's it for external differences - apart from race and registration numbers
Unless somebody says different ...
Thanks for the input - 1/72 Airfix Supermarine S.6B it is then!

Does the Airfix Supermarine S.6B qualify?
I think it was released in '57 and the Frog kit is a better rendition?
I have a kit donated by a buddy and entering the build would give me the incentive to do something with it.
If it does, can anybody give a quick pointer on how much work is involved to convert it to an S6.A?

Hi,
The problem does still occur but not as badly.
Probably needs a thorough clean then, involving careful disassembly. The rest of the advice and info here is on the money.

Do you get any flow problems using neat thinner?

Happy to chip in with a 1/72 RWD 5, (think it is an old Plastyk offering), that is lurking deep within the stash..
-
Defo interested in this as long as it is not restricted to the modern stuff.

Defo my fave build on BM this year - great stuff..

I would like a set if possible as well please.
More than happy to pay what you want for them and I can add the paypal fee onto the cost so you don't lose out.
