  4. Nothing beats a Canberra.. Lovely collection and selection of schemes.
  5. Very nice, and can only echo previous comment about how much has changed in what seems such a short amount of time.. Great set of stuff on your Flickr page as well.
  6. Lovely selection of types and shots - nice one...
  7. hi Paul, If you get near Toronto you might want to check out Wings and Wheels Hobbies - lovely shop with plenty of stock and some out of the ordinary stuff. CWHM is fantastic, allow yourself plenty of time to chat with the very knowledgable and friendly people there - and if you get a chance to see the Snowbirds in action take it! Hope you don't mind me posting a shot from last year's Hamilton show..
  8. Checked the stash last night and I have the "a" version and mine is by Condor, (MPM offshoot?), and also stumbled across a PM DFS 194 - would this qualify?
  9. Count me in if you could please - I think a 1/43 resin or white metal car kit should fit with the criteria? cheers
  10. I have the Academy 1/72 kit with some CMK goodies so put me down for this please - I also recall having the "a" version in the stash at some point - was it a Special Hobby offering? cheers
  11. hi Filler, I have Wednesday, Thursday, and possibly Friday down for this year. I might do the park & view but very much weather dependent, (I am about 75 minutes away so this is an option for me). I used to get a FRIAT ticket but the cost is too steep for me these days, especially when there are no guarantees on the weather. If you have the cash I think it is a nice package. One of the benefits is that you have a good chance of some nice weather over six days I suppose. You also have to vacate the FRIAT enclosure at about 18:00 on arrival/practice days I think, which means you might miss any late stuff, (PR9 last year for instance). The Mach 3 ticket will get you some nice take off & landing shots on all days, and whilst you will be closer to the flying than nearly anywhere else in the main show ground, there are areas on the other side of the airfield that are closer to the action given that most displays do not turn over the crowd line. (Farmer's fields and such like - if it bothers you that your money will go into a farmer's pocket you can always donate direct to the RAFCTE). If the Russian Knights attend this year I don't care where I am standing! cheers
  12. Oh yes, please put me down for this one - not sure what will I will do yet, time to do some stash rummaging I reckon, cheers
  13. Put me down for this one if you could please - I think it's time that old Smer boxing of the Heller Breguet 693 made an appearance, (I think I have an Extra-Tech etch sheet and some replacement decals in the stash as well), cheers
  14. I'd also like to add my thanks to Col & Enzo, and all those who took part - a great GB. (Even if I didn't get finished and added another kit to the shelf of doom)

    A Few of Mine

    Lovely, lovely Meteor shot
  16. If someone would point me in the right direction happy to give it a bash - does such a thing exist?
  17. It's true I am afflicted - vac forms, Italian builds and F1 vehicles - what could be worse? At least I didn't vote for the TigerMeet stuff..
  18. I voted for this, the Italian, and the vacform GB's - all at the bottom of the voting - sheesh! At least I can probably sneak a vacform or an Italian type into one of the other Group Builds, but I don't think my Meri Kits 1/43 Brabaham BT58 is going to make it into anywhere else.
  19. hi Tony, The A-7's are still operational - when we were at Araxos one was doing go-arounds - the sight and sound was fantastic. Not sure what the provenance of the Henschel is - it was covered up and we only found out it was there when chatting to one of the local chaps. cheers
  20. hi, we didn't get to Agrinio on the Thursday as we headed up towards Lamia and it was a little too far for us to travel. (We did Kalamata, Andravida & Araxos on the Thursday). All in all it was very interesting though, even getting stuck in Athens during the marathon on the Sunday, cheers
  21. I was at AAD at Ysterplaat in 2008 - fortunate to see this amongst other stuff like the Mirage, Bucc, Rooivalk, and TurboDak flying..
  22. hi Mick, Been away, but here is the rest of the Hampden stuff - hope you like 'em..
