Strange, I find the new Leadbelcher to be perfect for brushing, better than Chainmail. But that's just on figures and stompy robot things.

I used to make aircraft but mainly tanks in my younger days (long ago now) but I only really enjoyed the painting rather than the building. Moved on to figures and haven't really looked back since.

This (and some other threads on here) remind me why I stick to painting figures. Good to watch though 👾

Did you get to watch on their nice tv screen? Makes having it done all worthwhile! Not quite so good when you have one without any drugs!

Give the little buggers a really good wash in washing up liquid, an old toothbrush is good for this, dilute some PVA glue and cover thinly. Finally give them a priming paint coat and away you go. Should work (hopefully).

Winsor & Newton Artisan water-based oils also dry considerably faster than regular oils.

Although I concentrate on figures (with the very, very occasional aircraft) these are magnificent. Bravo.

Now that's a proper line up.

Just dug out my Tamiya F-14A from my age old stash with a view to finally building it, open the box, everything nicely sealed in bags, decals don't look too bad. Great thinks I, how complicated will it be to build? Looks for instructions, argh, where are the instructions? Take everything out, no instructions anywhere. So, the point is, can I get some from anywhere or am I stuffed? Anyone have any ideas? Cheers.
