  1. Love this Hun. Nice to see her in theswe colours as well. The Trumpeter is a nice kit its just a pity the 2 seater is way off. Doesn't affect the quality of your work though. 😎
  2. Great resuilt on this kit. There is alot of detail in this with great tonal difference in the weathering and a twist of colour on the tails. Didn't think the old (?) Planet Models kit had such refined detail. This deserves alot more likes !
  3. Very interesting composition. As an expat and old time Slaine fan I approve. Tir na Nog means land of youth and has older origins than 2000 AD comic of the '80s. It is the magical land that Osisin son of Fionn (captian of the Irish Fianna ) went to with his fairy bride Niamh if memory serves me right. Your figure painting skills are very good mind you I don't remember Irish women wearing this risque attire while growing up I suppose it loses its appeal in all that rain. 😂
  4. Hi there I am a 3D newbie and I bought the Longer 30 Orange about a month ago and for the price its good value. I paid just under the 300 euro mark for it on Amazon with all the bits and bobs to get started. The quality of the printer is good ; have a look for yourself I just posted some of the finished products over on the sci-fi section See here and here As said above you will use alot of alcohol for cleaning and a UV curing machine is worth the investement if you live in dank dark grey west Europe. I am printing off Industria mechanika AUG Otis.M Mecha robot all week and its a hoot prining off a kit; requires a bit of logistcal organistaion alright but al least it gets you out of the gate quickly as the Fusion 360 DIY design routte has a steep learning curve even with a CAD background. Good luck Regards Brian
  5. Here is another 3d printed subject I finished up recently. Its a sample file delivered with mij Longer Organe 30 3d printer and is called the Demon Vampire. I printed it off to see what the printer can do and was impressed so I painted it up. . Enjoy Brian
  6. Hi there Here is a 3d print project I did with my 12 year old son; I bought a 3d printer not long ago and we make up fanatsy figures using on-line Hero Forge website and this is one of the figures. Actually a school mate of my son 'comissioned' this ; he made up the figure using HF components and we printed it and finished it as this statue diorma at his reguest. The figure is 3d but the pedestal and footpiece were made using XPS foam (('extruded polystyrene) Hope you enjoy Brian
  7. no idea but whi cares its worth seeing and liking twice !
  8. ahhhhhhh Hoegaarden white beer yummy.... the 109's are cool too but I have a sudden thirst comin on.
  9. Yup Portuguese Invaders are on the old list. Am reading up on them. Rather impressive what such a small country was able to develop tactial doctrine and build the air organisation around it.
  10. That is a very fine model of a very pretty aeroplane. You dont see many of these built up. Congratulations and you have learned the secret of modelling....not patience but persistence. If you are producing results of this quality after only your 6th build then you are well on the way to be a very fine modeller. regards Brian
  11. Thanks Pauly I have yet to see the blury fotos of the B25 but I have a photo of the other A26 so I will probably make that one as well. As for the other African conflicts if Helion Publishing keep pushing new titles I will be broke soon! They released 3 since Christmas. Their recent re-release of the Biafra title includes artwork and the B25 is on the cover. Anything new I do I stick it up on here so keep your eyes peeled. Regards. Brian
  12. Thanks for the information. I still kick myself for not getting it when it originally came out. In my neck of the woods its difficult to get hold of it. @danbuoy Idem ditto. There are second hand copies floating around but availability and postage tend to be an issue. Thanks for the tips
  13. Hell, I did too !!!! Great work as usual.
  14. Here is an Italeri 1:72 A26B Invader, Biafra 1967. The standard A26B was modified to represent the unique nose, the a/c had been used in France as a radar calibration/survey a/c. I had to improvise for the colours and decals. Both the rudder markings and the shark’s mouth being a mix of spray painting and decals. This was the colorful Johnny Zumbach's mount in the early stages of the ill-fated Biafran secession attempt. This is one of two Invaders operated by the Biafrans with help from their friends. Inspired by the Helion Publishing title "Biafra- The Nigerian Civil War 1967-1970” It’s my second African Invader, the other being the Congolese A26K. Apparently there is also a B25 to be made in these colours but I have to find out more info. Regards Brian
  15. I am sorry but that tongue is just not long enough. You do Gene "King of the Nightime World" Simmons a grave disservice.

  18. Hi there Old Man just repeating my privtae messag on the public board. If you see the chance to respond to my query 18 December that would be great.

    Thanks

    Brian Kirwan

  19. Very nice result on what must be a tiny model. I have my eye on these KP kits but like the one of the previous commentators I am to wait for the SH 1:48 kit. (Don't know why actually as I have a resin 1:48). As a matter of interest what araments were included in the kit? I take it that the decals don't include any of the cartoon figures featured on the tail of the IAC a/c ?
  20. Hi there Old Man I sent you a messag 18 december and see that you might have missed it. Would you mind letting me know please? Thanks in advance !

  21. Fantastic work on great looking warplanes. Great subject matter as well.

  23. Looking good . This is a Tamiya kits so the fit should be flawless and depending on how extensive your weathering you should be finished for Santa. Dont know much about Japanese a/c but this is an equivalent to the German 110 ? How dis it fare against the B29? regards Brian now u have at least one reaction 😎
