Caracal makes a sheet for Omani F-16s. All you really need is the shield and some Arabic numbers.

When I was at Thumrait in '90 when we deployed there from Seymour Johnson, I saw some crazy stuff from the Omani and RAF Jags that were deployed there. I saw them coming down for flybys and dirt would be flying up behind them. The top of their tails were below the top of our parked F-15Es. I doubt they could have put their gear down. I flew out to the crash site of the F-15E that crashed there to get oil samples out of the engines on an Omani Huey flew by Brit pilot. Except for the take off and landing, the landing skids never did get more than 10-15 feet off the ground. They made good swarmas at the little cafe on the base.

I've always been intriged by this model of F-16. I have some Kinetic f-16As. Might convert one of them to a what could have been operational aircraft for some foreign country. I have some old Verlinden J-79 nozzles in the stash, be a good use for them. It will be in 1/48. Your build is outstanding.

That's because they were hanging out with us Strike Eagle guys at Al Kharj.

Back before the internet, You only had to hear the JMNs/rivet counters at the club meeting.

You should be alright using the Quickboost nose and Northstar nozzles.

Whatif the Aussies acquired the Mk. XII's after the RAF retired them for low level interceptors against Japanese kamikase. They refitted them for tropical use and used a late war RAAF scheme of allover Foliage green. Something different.
