I am a former US Navy Gunner's Mate Technician (specialist in nuclear and thermonuclear weapons). Lifelong interest in US and British Naval history with a large personal library of naval and military history books -- over 600 at last updating of my listing. Currently living on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii and working for the military as a civilian employee. Like building model ships in a scale I can deal with (1/700 isn't it, I've found!) when I have the time and room to set up a working table. Joey the cat is my able assistant for any and all projects naval, even though he does not think much of water that isn't in a bowl.
