  1. Hi, 17-8440 - F-4EJ - Delivered 20/05//1981 Upgraded to Kai standard - Still operational 301SQ Nyutabaru Air Base. Cheers, Sean
  2. Someone else had the same idea, may be worth dropping the Stig a PM... http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234998746-148-hobbyboss-a-10-thunderbolt-ii/
  3. You've achieved a fantastic result there. If you had issues with the weathering it certainly doesn't show, to my eye it looks really good. I particularly like the way you've masked the panels when weathering to give a crisp edge which really makes the different panels stand out. Thanks for sharing, Sean
  4. Absolutely Love it! I'm going to pick one up based on the strength of your build. Can I ask about the reflective surface you use when photographing against the airfield background, it's really effective. Cheers, Sean
  5. Hi John, I don't have experience of using GumFix but I can recommend White Tack for camo masking. It doesn't leave the oily mark that Blu Tack does, it's cheap and readily available in the UK. Sean
  6. Hi Vitor, That is a workshop I would have liked to attend! Fantastic builds as always and you thoroughly deserved every award they received! Thanks for sharing, Sean
  7. The first planes have taken off, fingers crossed! Sean
  8. Fortunately for those not lucky enough to be on one of the flight paths - The whole event is being televised on Channel 4 this evening at 20:00. http://www.channel4.com/info/press/news/channel-4-commemorates-battle-of-britain-with-aerial-spectacular Sean - On the white section flight path
  9. Due to weather conditions take off has been moved to 14:00 hours.
  10. Hi, Apologies if this has already been posted elsewhere. To commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain there will be a mass flypast of 40 aircraft beginning at midday today. From the website: On 15th September 2015, the 75th anniversary of victory in Battle of Britain, an estimated 40 Spitfires and Hurricanes and Blenheims from across the UK, USA and Europe will come to Goodwood Aerodrome, West Sussex, to take part in an historic flypast over the South of England. The event brings together in one place more Battle of Britain aircraft than at any time since World War Two. Present day aircraft owners, operators, pilots and engineers will congregate to create an event aimed to show those few remaining veterans who fought 75 years ago, and everyone that they stand for and on behalf of, that we, the modern generation, care about the sacrifices they made, that we will not forget them, and ultimately to thank them. http://www.battleofbritainday.co.uk/#!routes/c1px Thanks, Sean
  11. I can only echo what the others have said, quite superb and you've really captured the Buccaneer beautifully. If you ever decided to offer this as print I know I would certainly be interested! Sean
  12. Hannants will be there and usually offer a 10% discount on all orders for collection from the show. Aside from that there are a number of bookshops and traders selling kits. Sean
  13. Great work as usual Pappy! Your Buccaneer build was a real inspiration when I was getting back into the hobby. I bought one of these recently and your build will serve as a useful guide when it comes to building it. The wiring on the engine is effective, can I ask how you add various lumps and bumps to represent insulators and connectors etc? I would normally use PVA glue or thin strips of tape but would be interested if there is another way. Thanks, Sean
  14. You can stick me down, I need to break my GB duck! I will have a go at the Panigale S Tricolore version. Cheers, Sean
  15. Those are some great looking models, impressive output for the year. Thanks for posting the happy idiot video, not sure how I missed that one.
