  1. Is that a cromulant elucidan mason core thrust flange...jeez, that could pull a planetary body out of orbit! That's a bit over kill for a wee rolling road armed people mover?
  2. Hey Don, if you've only got one finger how do you model? Thanks for the summary, the comet sounds potentially awsome, I bet that'll create some apocolyptic predictions and paranioa... Adam
  3. Smart but $300 or £150? Hmmm And how accurate? Thanks for the heads up Adam
  4. Alclad burnt iron....have to remember that, I love the smooth dark finish...great sport what... the steampunkers could have fun with it as well. There's also Stephensons rocket which is widely available. Adam
  5. or something smaller and less well represented, like WW2 british submarines Cheers Adam
  6. Don, that's a pretty busy workbench. I vowed I would make one kit at a time but seemed to be unable to keep to the commitment...instead I've not made any for ages. Still, could be starting again soon... Cheers Adam
  7. John's email account has been 'hi-jacked' and someone is using to promote the old 'help!' scam. Best thing to do is contact john on his email/phone and let him know. Cheers Adam
  8. Nice to see some interesting experimental stuff but if you did a British sub (not a re-hash of Mirages U Class) I'm sure it would sell like hot cakes. Adam
  9. 'scuse my ignorance but what is PPRUNE? Adam
  10. No one has mentioned Finescale Modeller, I quite like the inclusive feel of it and the writing. Lots of readers contributions, almost the exact opposite of the AMW style. I prefer the magazines like FM or AMW or occasionally Max Modeller (but I haven't seen one of those for a while) with a range of subjects rather than single topics, meaning not just planes or tanks (crudely put!). Adam
  11. Show the little boat when she's finished...never too many subs on here... Adam
  12. Ah, when I saw your name I knew it was gonna be good! I'm not dissapointed. On the Point of rigging, I've done most of my smaller scale subs with stretched sprue. I just found that slight ridgidity made the process workable where as I found fishing line wouldn't stick and got annoying kinks, likewise wire and thread I couldn't get the sag to look right. But we are all different and prefer different methods. If it were me I'd put a jump wire on and leave it at that. I like the restrained weathering. Its really hard to get rust to look good at smaller scales. Adam
  13. Was that what you were looking for anchor for the other day? And Rowlocks! it is big! Adam
  14. What about this fellow real space nerds! http://www.ebay.co.u...984.m1423.l2649 Puts it out of my wallet....but i've got one how will it all end? Adam
  15. I think I have a set of instructions...that is what you are asking for? I can photo them & send to you if I can figure out where they are. Adam
  16. Want one ! I wish you guys wouldn't build mouthwatering models to a high standard and fuel my avarice... Excellent
  17. Its a great scale for subjects that matter.....nearly n guage or submarines in 144 are great, not too big (1/72) and not too small (1/700) but mini subs in 1/144 are quite tiny. Welcome to the scale of the gods.....well Neptune anyway
  18. I'm experimenting with the custon fields to create a 'reference' tab which would record books, magazine articles, videos/dvds and URLS, only I haven,t tried URLS yet Cheers Adam
  19. Now that is an interesting item....sort of history of the molds. What about those Eastern European shared molds? I'm thinking Mirage/Aga Apex/Eastern Express type of situations, a cross reference where shared molds exist... Cheers Adam
