  1. Hi, Ur paint job on the cab is very good the right depth of color - like OEM. I have these sanding pads kits from Paul at little-cars long time back. The 8000 grit will sure give a mirror finish, there is a pad upto 12000. A good clear might just cheer u up . Do u wish to put any livery logos on the doors? Nice job so far, The exhaust muffler look very real. Cheers, rishi
  2. Hi Spike, Very useful, thanks & cheers rishi
  3. Hi, Good job. The paint is near match to 007 movie car. Maybe there is kit in 1:24 scale, need to search. Beautiful car, much more appealing than modern day cars. Cheers, rishi
  4. Hi Fozzy, looking at rib cage and process ur going through, i must ask u do u work at aircraft building/ engineer????. very nice start. Cheers, rishi
  5. Hi Mikey, Yeah exhaust manifolds are cast iron, they should be rust brown after all the heat build up. I am not so good at weathering, hope to give a rust brown wash. The original pics show some engines with white exhaust manifolds and some red. I will try ur suggestion thanks cheers, rishi
  6. hi houston, i have painted the cab and body parts in 2k ivory, just a single coat. iam down with throat infection. Lol did the painting with dust mask. Joking must be the seasonal allerges here. Cheers, rishi

  13. Hi, This build is going very slow. I managed to get some 2K ivory paint (bit of green toned ivory) & 2K Honda red 522 from my workplace. The engine is wired - do the ignition wires look large?? The fuel lines are kept silver after going thro some photos on internet. Decals on air cleaner, starter, generator are from spare air craft caution decals. The windscreen glass had large gaps around the frame, used Tamiya light curing putty. I look forward to finish the Cab & load body painting by this week.
  14. Hi Paul, Nice work. I have fascination about sci-fiction remember when i saw star wars first. http://www.megahobby.com/thechariotlostins...biusmodels.aspx. check this site MOEBIUS kits have some interseting subjects to build. cheers, rishi
  15. Hi, Nice build, waiting to see it complete. I had a chance to drive Actros a couple of times here while applying for heavy truck driving license. Its very different in seating arrangement compared to earlier Mercedes. 8 forward 1 reverse electronic power shift. I have seen Mercedes Axor trucks from Turkey its cab is very narrow in front. Did u make those relay valves on chassis frame. Even i have complaints when i paint mostly enamels and 2k paints. I cover the A/C in my room with plastic and open the windows. Cheers, rishi
  16. Revell 1:24 scale 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO.

  18. Hi, Must be very large. I did see a tutorial on youtube U should the masking for seats. If i do that i will go crazy. Enjoy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OTF9G3s5ZuE...feature=related. Looking forward for ur build. Cheers, rishi
  19. Hi, Have U dismanlted the airbrush and cleaned? U can use dental cleaning wire brushes. Keep the rubber o rings dry aside and clean in laquer thinner. I use Badger needle juice, work very well. As for Carburetor spray my advise, be careful if it gets on ur skin its very itching and burning sensation. When refixing nozzle head use bee's wax melted on threads for air tight seal. Cheers, rishi
  20. Nice Build . Which kit manufacturer - Revell? Cheers, rishi
