  1. I should check Hannants website and see if they have any Airwaves B-52G/H resin conversions in stock.
  2. A46-301 was officially "Rolled" out last month and A46-302 had also taken it's maiden flight.
  3. You will need a pair of launchers off the Buccaneer S2 has the Sea Eagles where "nose down" on the GR1B's
  4. There's reports that the jet is at RNAS Culdrose since Paris working with the FAA's No.736 NAS and test pilots. Navy hawk replacement??????
  5. Ladies and Gentlemen. I am not sure if I am putting this in the right section but here goes. I am hoping that someone out there is building either the Trumpeter USMC AV-8B/AV-8B(NA) or the AV-8B+ Harrier II and does not require the GAU-12 Cannon and ammo pod for their jet has I'm looking in building a 1/32nd scale Royal Air Force/Royal Navy Harrier GR9A "What if" fitted with the gun. The reason behind this is that I saw a drawing in a Scale Aircraft Modelling some years ago with the Harrier GR5 (DB) ZD319 fitted with one during trails to see if the RAF's jets could use this platform instead of the 25mm ADEN cannon pods (which in the end also got rejected) and I thought of building the model with the system. If anyone has one complete GAU-12 Cannon set up for the AV-8B series please PM me so we can work out the cost paperwork.
  6. I didn't know that Revell did a 1/32nd scale Tornado ADV or have you got the old F2 version???
  7. ZE7587/YI was at Waddington in 2003 with two ALARMs fitted.
  8. The new design will be on the aircraft until the RAF's 100th Anniversary not just for 2015
  9. Great news. I have a B-52 fan in the USA interested in the kit.
  10. I have been trying to get onto Sanger Models website in the and drew a blank. Are they still about?????
  11. A aircraft as a pilot's name along with the Circus member on a jet but they fly whichever jets are up and running during the weekend displays. Therefore the Boss could end up flying red 8's jet and viscera. If you want the Boss' jet serial number - it's the one in the 2014 print.
  12. If you look on the RAF website at the news article entitled "Reformation Of No.12 Squadron" you will see a side on view of the Foxes Boss bird in what looks like the 100th Anniversary marking. Also No.16 ® Squadron flies Tutor T1s out of RAFC Cranwell and No,17 ® Squadron/Lightning II TES haven't been reformed at Edwards AFB yet
  13. The Squadrons celebrating their 100's this year are: No.VIII - Sentry AEW1. No.IX ( - Tornado GR4 No.10 - Voyager. No,XI (F) - Typhoon FGR4 No. XII ( - Tornado GR4. No. XIII - UAV, No.14 - Shadow R1 No.XV ® - Tornado GR4
  14. I believe it's a mixture of "in house" and contract. They tend to change when the aircraft go in for a major servicing, although the RAF has the total and final word on which Squadron's markings the aircraft is going to be finished in.
  15. To help the pylons (running port to Starboard ) a 1,2, 1a, 3, 4,5,6,7,9a,8, 9. A real mean loadout would be Paveway IV on 1 & 9. CVR-7 on 2 & 8. Sidewinders and BOL rails on 1a, & 9a. Tanks on 3 & 7. Sniper on 4, JDRP on 5. Terma pod on 6.
  16. I don't thinks so due to fact that they havn't been flown yet. They were only on the mock up at Farnborough.
  17. The last MA sheet I got came from Italy . Hannants only reprinted the Harrier sheet in 1/72nd scale.
  18. Thhe only time I have heard of a ADV Tornado carrying four tanks was a F2 which flew over the "pond" for some test work in the early 1980's. I think (I might be wrong) that that was a test in it's own right to see how far a F2/3 could fly without tanker support.
  19. I have spoken (ok - e-mailed) to Southern Sky Models and he's hoping to have a EA-18G Growler sheet out later this year /early next year as soon has he gets some more information about the jets.
  20. The GAU-12 may have been fitted to Harrier GR5, ZD319 (DB2), to be tested - but the UK Government at the time ran with the 25mm ADEN cannon which was cancelled in 1998.
  21. The Hornet is a "C" model, maybe a Marine jet???
  22. All the F3's were clean of Squadrons markings other than the one's carrying nose and nosewheel door art.
