  1. Looking forward to this release. I had a Kinetic kit and when I saw the pictures of the detail of parts of this kit, I decided to sell Kinetic kit. So this is a must buy for 2021.
  2. Knowing Bronco and their inclination towards putting in a lot of details, it looks like this is going to be a very good kit.
  3. Beautiful build. Very inspiring. Even in a design from over a century ago, the simplicity and elegance of German design is very much evident in the lines of the aircraft. First it took me a long time to decide if I want to buy a WNW kit. Not just the price, the rigging and all complications with biplane kits made me dread. When I finally bought one and was planning to buy this exact kit, WNW shut down!!
  4. Turkey has denied it. Azerbaijan has denied it. May be it crashed then.
  5. How about creating a baseline time? For example, the admins could delete/archive all posts prior to Dec 31st 2013. Just a suggestion. And I cant say thank you enough for admins who keep this great source up and running.
  6. Caracal sheet seems to have the one you are looking for http://www.caracalmodels.com/cd48170.html
  7. Suddenly a flood of memories seeing this Airfix kit. This was one of the first kits I made. Airfix then had it in a plastic bag with that same box art picture on a folded sheet stapled on the plastic bag. That sheet of paper doubled as instructions and history.
  8. Very impressive work indeed. And very inspiring too.
  9. My first ever model was Hasegawa F-104 Starfighter in 1/72. I was a kid. Had no idea what it was. It included glue though. My uncle brought it for me back from his vacation. I made it with the help of my aunt. Ever since then, I developed interest in building kits. I was so young I used to read the box F-ten-4.
  10. Where to find wire for rigging is my question. Is rigging different for German and British aircraft?
  11. We could build it or not, but its an amazing kit with lots of research. Attention to detail is just awesome. Although all of this comes at price.
  12. I have one WnW in the locker. Its a Hanover. A beautiful kit with lots of research and details. What prompted me to buy it is WnW's great novelty of subjects. Whats stopping me to build it is so many unknowns like putting together two wings, wooden texture on propeller and the dreaded rigging. Your build though gives me confidence that it can be done.
  13. Nice to see the three color camo on a Eurofighter. The website has a design glitch though. When you hover over the 'Share' on the left side of the page, the Eurofighter icon revolves downwards. Figuratively, that is not a good advertisement of your product.
  14. Agreed. And I will add one more point. If Iran was attacking the US bases, it should have closed its airspace for commercial flights so that such tragic incident had not taken place.
  15. https://www.sampublications.com/webshop/scale-military-modeller-international/smmi-latest-issue/smmi-volume-50-january-2020/ Its now in SMMI latest issue.
  16. This is fantastic build. Would be really interested in what your camera set up is.
  17. There is no instance of it being shot down. But if you want to sensationalize, thats another thing https://www.cnn.com/2020/01/08/business/boeing-iran-crash/index.html Boeing, in order to save money and plan long term, chose to cut corners and add new things to an old airframe. In that effort, they have not only lost more money but most importantly their reputation.
  18. Looks like Avro 504K. An aircraft that was very famous in WWI but been absent from WnW lineup.
  19. The instructions ask not to use glue to assemble the two tiles on the track links, You have to use glue or else they keep falling off. So now I dont have any tiles left. And if I remove the tiles, I will likely break them. I will try but it does not seem it will work.
  20. Yes, I heard that tan on Belgian kits is slightly different. Its not a SEA camouflage. Did some research. According to this link, I have used SEA camo colors. The lighter green and tan seem to be fine. Its the darker green which needs to be fixed. The darker green is FS34064 which I cant seem to find in Gunze range I have. However, looking back at DACO instructions, I found these are the recommended colors. Regardless, I will need to make some modifications in camouflage scheme.
  21. For the last 2 years, I had been building this kit off an on. I had been put off many times by the assembly of working tracks and how much fiddly, repetitive and boring this work is. Once I was done with putting together individual sets of the tracks, I laid them down in two parallel lines. Thinking equal track lengths is what I should be looking for, I was surprised when I had 7 tracks to fit together and run out of tiles! Rolling a completed track over the wheels, I found the track was longer by at least 9 individual tiles. This has been such a disappointment. The kit is ok, but comes with horrible instructions on putting together these tracks. They mention 81 links on each side. Would not it better if they had mentioned how many sets of track sets assembled on a jig need to fit on each side? That way, I would not have gone over the length. I was anticipating fun and excitement after I m done with tracks but now its seems the kit is destined to trash. Not just time but so much money also wasted.
  22. Cracks have been discovered in 737-800 model wing roots. Qantas is one of the airlines to have reported this. Boeing says its not a safety issue as they said about MCAS after the MAX crash. I dont know how credible you will find RT but they give news which America mainstream media does not cover. This report has more detail about this issue.
  23. Very very nice. Thank you so much. The kind of advice I was looking for.
  24. If any of you know which is the best T-80 kit in 1/35. I m particularly interested in T-80U, the turbine engined version. There are several choices in the market - some variants from Trumpeter and a T-80U from a new entrant RPG-Model. I m looking for detail, quality of surface detail and how easy the kit goes together,
