This is an amazing Tamiya kit built completely out of the box. Used Gunze Acrylics H305 & H308 for body colors and H308 for weapons.

Yes you are right about silvering. Revell decals were very hard to settle with decal solvents. About that scoop! I wish i had known this before i finished this kit. Thanks for your input.

Hello from Canada. This is my first post on this forum. This is a 1/48 Hasegawa Sabre reboxed by Revell. Great kit but not without some problems. The extra wing tips for a shortened Mk. 6 wing were difficult to work with. Too much sanding and filing. I have used Gunze Acrylics. H317 Grey and H73 Green for the top and and lightened H308 for the underside. I have used KMC's ejection seat which is beautifully detailed and is a great improvement on kit's very basic cockpit. I did use Jaguar's gun bay but it was not detailed enough so i closed that panel. It lacks depth and details which i was not interested to improve upon. I have used Revell's stencils. They were well detailed but very hard for decal solvent to settle. Markings are from Model Alliance decal sheet 48-120.

I use Gunze Sangyo Mr. hobby paints. In terms of quality, they are the best colors in the market. For F16s, their range of colors is H305 to H308 inclusive. these are the best match for all standard F16 colors. i hope this helps.

What exactly did you do to change C wing to E wing?
