  1. Could be 2 fireflys, one a U9 without the prop perhaps
  2. Need to build Mickey Rooney's AT-11 from it's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World. I'll never forget watching it fly through the billboard as a kid.
  3. How do you know they didn't and took them with them? Maybe that's where all the Typhoons went.
  4. That's fantastic! I know it's a bit off topic but how did you do the reverse image search?
  5. Sorry missed the last posts, any idea of scale please?
  6. Had a look at some more cutaways and I agree with Danny, Dornier 17. With the level of detail in the CAD, hopefully a big one.
  7. Me too, shame it's not a Shackleton/Whitley/Albemarle/Hampden etc.
  8. Looking at the Airfix image I can't see how it can be a low wing aircraft. The airfoil section looks like it's the right way up to generate lift and if the image is indeed inverted then the bomb looks like it's loaded on top of its hanger rather than under it.
  9. Gone off the B25, B26. Looks like their is a twin bay bomb bay. Inclined to agree on the B24, B29 theories.
  10. Think the CAD images are 2 different aircraft. The photo seems to show a high wing bomber, which, for me, rules out the B17. Looking at photo's of the Dornier the bomb bay looks further aft so not that either. The photos seem to show the fins on the bombs facing in the right direction, still missing from the CAD model I presume. Possibly a B25 or B26 for me.
  11. Kit SW72081 is the F1/F2 and SW72082 is the F3. Looks like the ducts will be on another sprue. If you look at the left side of the sprue you can see the different fins.
  12. On the CAD drawing of the prop detail, shouldn't the purple part be forward of the orange part?
  13. Since Hornby have taken over can we have a 1/48th Flying Scotsman and a Mallard please?
  14. Just seen Airfix have released a new mosquito. 1/48 PR XVI. Does anyone know if this is a new tool?
