  1. Absolutely awesome, put this example against a convincing background and you'd have to look more than twice to realise its a model. Outstanding work. ATB Jase
  2. Miles better than I could do at this scale, very well done, thanks for sharing. ATB Jase
  3. Absolutely awesome, a masterclass in skin tones.
  4. Great result! This kit got the better of me - it just seemed everything that could have gone wrong, did and my mistake experience with it almost pushed me to give up on building period. Maybe I'll give it another go someday, but for now I'll make do with the 1/72 offering. I can imagine it looks stunning 'in the plastic' when finished. Cheers Jase.

  6. If they're anything like the cockpit set, It'll be a complete bitch. I've spent a good while trying to dry fit this cockpit, and it just doesn't feel like it belongs, or will fit the Tiify fuselage.
  7. Everything that's been said previously, absolutely beautiful!
  8. Mad as a bag of balloons! Seriously, I admire your patience, perseverance and skill. A superb effort on every level, and an excellent result to boot. Gotta love that!
  9. Sorry guys, progress is really slow right now but I'm definitely going to get some work posted up over the weekend, and as I've been waiting ages for this GB I will get it done in time no excuses. Amongst other things aside of modelling that have demanded attention I've had some pretty fierce fit issues with the cockpit on this project and it's been doing my trumpet in I know these Fujimi kits have a pretty good reputation (and maybe I've just had an odd one) but to be honest, if someone asked me what I thought of the fit of this kit in one word I would have to say 'ropey'. Perhaps I'm jumping the gun a little with this appraisal considering it's hardly started, but it doesn't inspire confidence much, especially when (through no fault of the kit of course) you're under the cosh for time. Still, if over the next 10 days of solid graft I can't knock out a half decent kerbside with a bit of PE then I'd be disappointed. More to come (honest!) Cheers, Jas.
  10. This has been done, linky: http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234931133-revell-132-lynx-conversion-to-ah7/ HTH Jase.
  11. Holy crap, that's all sorts of awesome, brilliant job!
  12. Another great build Russ, those Vietnam subjects are really cool and I have to admit, I occasionally take another look at those amazing f-104's you posted a while back. Thanks for sharing mate. ATB Jase.
  13. O my gawd Russ, you've done it again! Brilliant work! ATB Jase.
  14. Very cool , well worth a closer look. More pics please! ATB Jase
  15. Aires stuff looks great, that's some seriously nice work on the pit. A good overall size as well in 1/48, I have the Revell f-14a in 1/32 and it's bloody mahooosive, reckon I could make a half decent toboggan out of the lower fuselage..................... now the suns come out! Great work ATB Jase.
  16. Awesome finish, gotta love the Platypus! Mean as hell, and this build looks the biz. Great job!
  17. I'd be more than happy to have that on my shelf, really really nice job!
  18. Superbly finished, great paintjob and weathering. Subs are not the easiest subjects with regards to painting, you really need a good grip on subtle weathering/shading techniques. IMHO this one is straight off the top shelf. Very well done indeed! ATB Jase.
