Very cool. I always used to think about this one on Comet Miniatures but always thought it was probably a terrible kit. I can see I was wrong and it actually looks quite tasty.

Im just doing war machine myself. I desoldered SMD's from the LED tape that's around these days. they easily fit in the hands and point the right way allowing you to glue them in place easy. Bit fiddly to solder, I hold one in a peg while I solder the wire on (thin kynar wire.)

I have this exact compressor, and have had it for 2 years - in fact I bought it from Paul at Telford. I think its been very good so far and still going strong. Had to bleed it once as the tank started to sound slushy and a load of rusty water came out but I guess thats normal. The noise sounds the same as mine. Yep its a little loud! I put mine on top of some stacked up old teatowels which helps dampen it a bit.

amazing build again Artur. Can I ask you about the salt technique you used? I noticed in your build thread that the model was fully painted before you applied any salt - what was the procedure you used? Usually you see salt added while the model is being painted tor reveal undercoats but you seem to have done things differently, to great effect. I'd like to try ! Thanks

Hi all! Finished this one back in Nov but forgot to post here. This is the Eduard 1/48 profipack of the MiG-21 SMT variant. Fantastic & enjoyable kit of a beautiful aircraft - every stash should have an Eduard MiG in my opinion! Hope you enjoy! Ta ps - sorry but camera shots aren't great, these were taken with my phone. (sorry about my simian hand there )
