At Sea

Hi,

I am a Captain in the Merchant Navy, I started building kits when I was about 10, I recall something about a Matchbox A4 Skyhawk so that may have been my first kit. Since then I built regularly, cars, tanks, aircraft. Anything I fancied until I went to sea at 18. Then a few Christmas' ago my wife bought me a 1/48 Airfix Messerschmit 109 and that kick started it again. I mostly now build RAF post-war stuff but occasionally branch out. 

The difference between now and then is that 'out of the box' is no longer an option, and the research is as much fun as the build!
