  1. Wif? Pre PRU Spitfire trainer for ex- Lysander pilots?
  2. I know I'm late to the fair and I'm sure it has been discussed ad nauseam somewhere, but is there any consensus on the colour of these? Are they red and white as in many box arts and decals or sand and white as in the Italeri kit, or are they just white outlines?
  3. Since I am one of those who you would describe as overweight, I don't like people sitting beside me either. Airlines need bigger seats. Happy modelling.
  4. Maybe they won't all be released at the same time. It would be easier on the wallet.
  5. Specifically, the RAF S2B. Supposedly196 undercarriage legs, interior of intake doors,, wheel hubs, bomb bay, interior of wheel bays (I think). It is not Light Aircraft grey (humbrol 166). I have or can get plenty of Light Aircraft Grey, but Humbrol 196 is difficult to obtain at the moment.
  6. On the Airfix kit there are many areas supposed to painted Humbrol 196. Which official colour is this supposed to represent?
  7. PatG, I seem to have lost one. Thanks, Graham. I thought it was too simple
  8. Can the Quickboost Ju 87G undercarriage (72-328) be used on the Airfix Ju 87B-1?
  9. Have just noticed that much of the Edsuard 1/72 Mig 21 line has been discontinued. Don't wait too long
  10. Wait for the Eduard. Much more recent kit. Quickboost did 3 sets to improve the Fujimi (Spine&tail,Ventral fin,Stabilizers) suggesting outline errors. 2 for the Eduard (radar noseand exhausts)
  11. Thanks for the reply, Gingerbob. It would fit the photos and would probably answer my second question which would be about bomb racks. They might be there on PBJ-1ds but they probably do not appear on PBJ-1js.
  12. I have it in mind to build a U.S. Marine PBJ for which purpose I have acquired a variety of aftermarket bits and, since printed resources are scant), a copy of Osprey Combat Aircraft 40. This latter has not solved many problems. Question 1 Gunpacks Some B-25s and PBJs have 4 guns in 2 gunpacks as depicted in Quickboost 573. Others have 4 guns in 4 single gun packs. (Yes. I know some only have two). See pages 28 and 29 for examples of the 2 styles. Is there any rule of thumb for the fitment of these? Or, for that matter, the many that have none. See pages 72 and 73.
  13. Huh! Part D46 (ejection seat top) leapt off the table and is now MIA. Now I have to search through the Eduard etch. I demand a refund.
  14. Hannants have A&A models AAM 7239 Martin Mauler in Future Releases . Can't find any mention here. Is it a new tool ?
  15. This may be a dumb question but what is the best (easiest) means of opening up the various air intakes in the wings of these oldies? Memory suggests three per engine.
  16. Posted 3/2, still in Ukraine 15/2. More planes to UK than Oz.
  17. Well, yes, they are expensive but -VAT-10% brings it down.
  18. I've read the 2018 posts as well as the current one. I'm still confused. I have in my stash an Academy G-1, a Fujimi G-1 and a G-2 and a Tamiya G-2. Which one(s) are accurate?
  19. Just got mine out and had a browse on the internet. My objection to it is that the air flow dividers in the intakes are not curved as they are on the original and do not go deep enough.
  20. Sorry to revive an old thread but I don't recall it being mentioned that the Tempest F.6 kit also contains parts for the Mk.2, a la Matchbox. I presume that when KP says Slate Grey they mean Dark Slate Grey.
  21. 2022?? !/72 ? SH Albacore? Dora Fairey Delta 2? Azur Battle? Promises, promises.
