    There was a time when a gentleman modeller could don his tweeds,down a kipper and a slosh of oolong enforce having his man set up the bench for a day's modelling. No more it seems. Today's modeller is cruelly severed from his first love by gainful employment.

      Find an art supply shop. Artists use similar stuff but it's thinner. It also goes off. I've just checked mine. not too expensive for a small jar

    Knackered a ligament and cartilage in my right wrist. I can't imagine getting too far as a reluctant left-handed modeller somehow, so I shall have to have a modelling break until I'm properly dextrous again. Grr.
