  1. Julien - anymore progress on this??? any more reference photos? will start mine soon I hope (once the MN326 is done and that is getting there)......
  2. with that amount of rivets I am surpised you can't just snap it apart.......
  3. was only joking.... still think it is a great build......
  4. looking great still... I am beginning to feel it would be a shame to paint up all that nice brass you have - least you can easily see the ikmmense work you have done......
  5. nice work.... (tbh I prefer the curvier early F-16 than the blocky one.....)..... cant wait to se eyour panel wash.. I still havent managed to get mine to look like Phil does in his demos - think it is more my KLEAR coat being too thick (painted on) and not leaving panel lines deep enough.......
  6. looks good... thats a nice OOB interior - will you leave the door open to be able to see this?
  7. i give up.... not gonna comment any more - its the usual stunning start - that leather briefcase (or whatever) in the cockpit is a work of art (the rest aint bad either)
  8. i have only just started using an A/B and compressor.... it is all about trial & error. Work out what process works for you, how you like to hold the brush etc.... I know I tend to over-spray so need to learn to mist rather than blast but with use comes practice comes experience... and who knows - maybe some skilL!!!!
  9. undercarriage painted & built (needs a little touch up) - wont aplpy it until the weathering is done. Got the pro-modeller wash yesterday. First attempt not 100% successful. Have some of the panel lines more fefined (especially on the underside) but I think some of them are too shallow and the wash is just wiping off. Will apply a 2nd coat. Also found out 1) needs nose weight - good job there is not cockpit 2) should be able to fit 4 underwing stores (may create a fuel pod mounted IRST unit too (think it should be straight forward( anyway more photos to follow but I am getting there.....
  10. great photos - both of the cockpit and the St Elmo's Fire...... and if you have speakers where do you plug the i-pod... all modern transport now needs and i-POD dock..... and the unknown blanking plate - cup holder anyone??? ;-0
  11. DIGITAL... go on, you know you want to..... pixelate it all over in 3-4 colours.....
  12. ....who employed me for a while - well in IT and for the Army......
  13. 2 great tomcats... going to have to look at your WIP photos to pick up some tips.....
  14. looking good... like how you have the cockpit looking.....
  15. am with Basosz on this.... love the finish you have
  16. thats ok.... they are rather obvious images so would hope that if you are used to seeing them then you would notice that they were on wrong.... anyway will make some progress this week - hope to have U/C completed and some weathering done (my first attempt with the promoddeler wash)... assume best to weather the fuselage/wings without the U/C in place....... will also build up the underwing stores - I think they will fit so will take the plunge......
  17. really like that - would;ve liked it if you had incormprated my "ski" idea lol ;-) nah thats a neatly finnished kit
  18. wow that is very WHIFfy.... what a really odd looking plane.... but your build is coming along well - wonder if you could have a modern flying test-bed, guess it would be a but more difficult to bolt the engine from a Tiffie onto a Tornado!!!!!!
  19. great work Al... I must get back to mine... I have 2 nights this week and 3 next with SWMBO away on business so will get some more work done then........
  20. wow - thats a great start... looking forward to seeing more progress
  21. will watch this one... have a 1/72 Hase Prowler awaiting some attention... need to work out if I will add AM or go OOB (think the cockpit could have some AM PE but never used it before so a bit wary... love the start you have given this........
  22. taking time is something I could learn... loving this Mish - that camouflage is nicely done......
