  2. Interior white done, rest is OD.... And engine painted a light grey....
  3. think I wont get chance to finish this by the 23rd October deadline. ill continue as much as I can tho and then move to the normal Armour WIP forum
  4. just caught up with this... great work so far. Loving my IBG Otter but yes some small/fiddly parts... hope I get mine close to finished before the end of the GB
  5. Back from a few weeks away... Chassis finished, engine just resting for now.... Next step primer (maybe tomorrow)
  6. Thanks... Red stuff is coke can.. so thin aluminium
  7. Not much bench time at the moment... But interior fittings finished...
  8. Once I have the part I will take a photo of it ....
  9. IBG have confirmed they can supply the missing part... dont think I will be around building for a while tho, still hoping to get this done by the end of the GB
  10. Cheers George, missing part A19
  11. This PE isnt too bad actually, fairly simple bends Thanks .. Ok so RHS wall underway. Just need the Boyes AT rifle bracket along the bottom then it's stalled until I confirm if missing part is coming. Will paint interior while I wait cos I think lining up the front is going to be a pain ...
  12. On to the turret, roof, gunners seat and interior. I have a nice schematic of the LHS wall showing MG an AT rifle fixtures so going to do a touch of scratch building (you should all know me by now, can't resist if the evidence is available). Will leave both doors open so should be able to see about of what I have done)...
  13. Chassis and axles done ... Need missing part before I can glue axles to chassis so moving on to next steps....
  14. Chassis coming together nicely...
  15. Argh... Just found a part missing (looking at sprue it seems to never have been cast which is very odd). IBG contacted, on to next steps...
  16. And now finished..... Found a few small additions to the interior (storage for the MG from the turret) and want to see if I can see how the AT rifle was stored when not in use, and then I can open the bonnet....
  17. Skipped to step 8 (first 7 are wheels and then PE bending (will leave that until the PE is needed)9... Engine starting to take shape. Nothing will be visible but I like making and painting an engine (May see if one of the engine covers can be left open)
  18. So all set up to start today.
  19. I think so. Think the plastic is the same but where MM use resin IBG reached with plastic....
  20. hahaha yes... full interior - engine is about 30 parts I think.... looking forward to it
  21. Photos when I am next at home but I will build the IBG 1/35 Otter. Will be out the box, have a few references but none show them really heavily laden so going to hold off stowage (unless I find could images)
  22. due to personal reasons I do not know if I will get to start this build on time, however, I am confident I can get some work done on the Otter and join in, even if I don't get finished.... i will lurk anyway to watch the great builds unfold
  23. thanks Sttix... and thanks for letting me build with such illustrious company.... great builds all.... votes cast
