Markings, what-if as the add on track armour is what-if. Not sure how much of this will be visible with said track armour added...

Weekend work. Engine coming together nicely, a few small parts left to add, and the side parts done. There are a LOT of sub-assemblies still to go but it is beginning to take shape

a fair few photos today.... Firefly has gone from black primer through to modulated British green. Used the MiG Ammo British 1944-45 Olive Drab as the dark and then lightened with various amounts of buff. A final dry brush (first time doing that as part of the base coating. All paint mixed with gloss varnish (something I had seen on various builds) so I shouldn't need a gloss coat before the decals

Second set of torsion bars done, plus rear firewall and 2 side walls.for the engine compartment

Fiddly torsion suspension... Not looking forward to fettling this in once all painted, has to be lined up perfectly....

Lunchtime sees the drivers controls done. Just dry fitted to transmission

Transmission done, a very well engineered piece of plastic...
Plan is to do a lot of interior sub-assemblies but leave them loose to aid painting....

Time to start something new, this time the 1/35 Takom Bergepanther Ausf D. Full interior for me to play with, may try some extras in terms of wiring if I can find any references (assume a lot would be as it would be in a normal Panther Ausf D...
Anyway, box lid and where I am so far.....

Decided the 2 mud planks on the side should be wood, and that the crew wanted to remember Amiens so they painted a little sign.....

Seems so (according to MiniArt at least). Thanks for the comment....
More movement, started on the hatches that need internal brackets/fixings.... Next up the 2 turrets....
Rear wheels just resting, keeping flimsy photo etch safe....

Oooohhhhhh starting to add detail.... Unfortunately there are a few support to the wheel arches that should between the chassis and the body which means the body would.no longer be removable if they were attached.... May consider leaving them off

yeah weight was the main concern I had, and why I lost the windshield and the armour on the gun. Probably still too heavy.... Good shout on the seats in the rear
