  1. I once tried a similar setup in 1/48, and darned if yours doesn't look better all the way around. Very nicely done.
  2. Lovely work all around! The trolley puts one in mind of a wartime newsreel.
  3. Exceptional work, weathering is beautiful. And that is one truly studly bomb load!
  4. A Nordic beauty! The landing gear work is particularly impressive.
  5. It never ceases to amaze me what strange-looking shapes can actually becom airborne! Exceptional work on a very odd beast.
  6. Brings back many fond memories---but mine never looked this good! Very nice.
  7. Wonderful natural pose. Impressive work for "braille scale."
  8. Very nice work on a rarely-seen markings scheme. And the missiles are a great improvement. I sympathize with your travails. I talk to my builds on occasion, trying to convince them that I'm trying to make them look magnificent. But they will still insist on shedding delicate parts...particularly before being photographed.
  9. Lovely work there Rich! The bathroom tile base is brilliant--that would never have occurred to me. I'm not shy--would love to hear the backstory, if you'd care to share it.
  10. Lovely build! Were the folded rotors a kit option, or something you worked up on your own?
  11. A beautiful, beautiful rendition of a much-underappreciated aircraft. First rate!
  12. That's a whopper for 1/72--was that a conversion of the Heller kit, or something like a Combat Models vac? Beautiful build, of course. As to whether or not to sell--it always hurts a bit to part with a favorite project, but it does help make room for the next one. Cheers
  13. Beautiful build, with wonderfully subtle weathering. The canopy is indeed very striking. May I ask what product you used to reproduce the tinted portion?
  14. One of my favorite aircraft in one of my favorite schemes. Beautifully done!
  15. Truly exceptional work! I particularly like the first, low-angle photo. It beautifully captures the very lethal look of the gunship version.
  16. Greetings to all. I humbly offer my take on my latest British infatuation, the beautiful Great Western Air Ambulance. I fell in love with the color scheme when I came across some online photos, and knew I had to give it a try. I stretched the venerable Fujimi Bo105 PAH-1 to portray the longer Bo105CBS fuselage, then scratchbuilt the details in the aft/medical section based on photos from the invaluable UK Emergency Aviation website. A few of the excellent photos also provided imagery which I was able to use to create my own inkjet-printed decals. Thanks for looking!
  17. Tom's Modelworks has a set (#500) with jackets and detail parts for (3) Spandaus and (2) Parabellums. www.tomsmodelworks.com Cheers
