  1. What if it's not a pack of cigarettes, but a first aid pouch, U.S. paratroops carried first aid packs on their helmets during W.W.II, it's just a thought on my part, either way it is a terrific build.
  2. Fantastic job mate, but why re paint the commander figure he looks great. Regards, Robert
  3. Thank you for that, i think you are right about the guy in the black trousers/pants, he is standing in the space right where i would like to see pictures of, the rear facing gunners bay. From looking at the cutaway drawings, it seems the walkway is on the port side of the aircraft only as it goes through the bomb bay area, therefore it seems unlikely that there would be two openings from this bulkhead section, i may be wrong about this, hopefully some kind soul will put some pictures on this thead of the said bulkhead clearly showing it from the gunners bay. Many thanks, Rob
  4. Interesting pictures, but sadly still none from the dordal gun bay showing the bulkhead wall directly infront of the bomb bay. Many thanks, Rob
  5. Nice pictures again, but i still need to see the bulkhead wall section directly infront of the bomb bay area, but viewed from the rear of the cockpit ( viewed from the cockpits rear gun bay area ). So if anyone has any pictures of this view, then please share them here. Is there a cabin door leading to the bomb bay area or just an open walkway straight through the bomb bay area and down the plane's fusilage? Many thanks, Rob

  7. Nice pictures rudolf, Now does anyone have any pictures showing the bulkhead inside of the rear cockpit/gun bay directly infront of the bomb bay? Many thanks, Rob
  8. Hi Chris, Thanks for that info mate. Regards, Rob
  9. Ok, i have studied the diagrams , does anyone have ay pictures of the exterior bomb bay doors ( are the large openers or small individual openers) and also a picture of the gun bay area of the rear of the cabin showing the bulkhead infront of the bomb bay area. Many thanks, Rob
  10. Nice one, i think that answers that! Many thanks, Rob
  11. Hi does anyone know if the Savoia Marchetti SM.79 Sparviero had a bomb bay or were the bombs located under the fusilage like on the torpedo varants? Does anyone possess any pictures to share? Many thanks, Rob
  12. Hi, back to the subject of the model kit, has anyone got a picture of the box art they could load onto this thread, as i am curious to see it and might buy it for my own son to build. Many thanks, Rob
  13. Hi, This may not be relevant to your chosen colour scheme, but while i was visiting RAF Cosford last year, i saw a couple of pictures of a He111z in a book in the gift shop which showed one in white winter camo presumably somewhere on the eastern front. Also they have a built model section and they had an Italeri He111z on show and that was in white with green camo, i don't know how accurate the model kit was but the photo's in the book prove that this scheme was used operationally at least. This aircraft type probably only had an operational lifespan of 2-3 years, so the colour schemes may not be that varied and probably was in the standard splinter colours and whitewashed for inter operations, the Italeri boxing i have shows it in the standard splinter scheme on the box art. I have not built mine yet but i think i will be doing mine in the winter scheme, as the type might have saw more service on that front than any other front, that's just my opinion and i have not researched it enough to make a definite decision. Regards, Rob
  14. Hi, I always liked the old Airfix H20 version as a kid, i have since gone right off it, i bought the Frog one later on and the Italeri kit to compare them against each other, as i remember they were both nice easy builds, the italeri He111 was the recognised by many as the best He111 on the model market until the Hasegawa kit came out, and shortly afterwards Revell released their (Hasegawa tooled) version at a much cheaper price, and now all eyes seem to be on Airfix in anticipation of their new release, which is expected to be the "dogs wotsits" if you know what i mean. Coming from Airfix, it should be affordable to all. I for one will be racing to get one upon it's release. It's going to be interesting to see how they all compare once the new Airfix kit appears, lets hope that Airfix don't crash and burn on this one then. Regards, Rob
  15. Hmmm, I thought they were the same kit, that's why i bought the Revell one, it's half the price! How can the cockpit detail be different if it's the same kit? Regards, Rob
  16. Hi, how can you tell a 1944 tank from a 1945 tank, i have not noticed any significant changes myself, is it the gun mantlet, wheels or the front mudguards? Rob
  17. I thought that the Matchbox He111 was a BOB era kit as the box art denotes it over London's east end! And what is the difference between the engines then on H & P versions, is it noticable? Rob
  18. Now that's a transformation mate! i love the paintwork too. Rob
  19. Come on Tim, pull yer finger out (LOL), every pun intented there! I'm itching to see how this one's going to look, i'm not a 48th scale man but i think the build is superb. Regards, Rob
  20. Hi, that's a nice neat build, only one question though, why the German style number plate on the rear? Regards, Rob
  21. Thanks chaps, I now have the details i require, and should be ok now.
  22. Hi, can any one help me out here, i wish to buy a "Spectrum patrol car" in either 1/72 scale OR 1/76 scale, the true dimensions of this fictional vehicle is 18 foot long (5.4 metres). i have seen a small model of one that is 60mm long, but i am unsure of this models scale size. Can any one tell me what size the vehicle would be if it were 1/72 scale or 1/76 scale seeing as the original size is 5.4 metres in length? Also can any one tell me what scale the 60mm model equates to? Many thanks, Rob
  23. Hi, i love the transformation of the airfix armoured cars, did vlad the impaler catch the recon team? phewww that looks painful what he's done to them! Regards SMUDGER
