  1. I will buy one, the colour scheme is very different than anything else. If it is a simple, non fussy, high quality kit I think they will sell a lot, very different that the usual olive drab or gray
  2. Seconded, I want to do a Black Panter VA-35 with the big round insignia on the tail
  3. Very good choice of decals That is a sure purchase for me!
  4. I will order one as soon as it is released. I already bought 1 single seater, what we are missing now are decals! Just a sheet with the various insigna, stencil and numbers would be perfect! It is a shame that Tauro Models is not the same as before
  5. Yes I don't understand why the Merlin moulds have not been used more,
  6. I will be very happy if it comes out and I will probably buy multiple boxes of it. I have at least 3 planes I want to do. At the same time I find a little strange that it is coming out when the plane will be phased out of service instead of when it was in full service and very visible (Bosnia years) I can't wait and let's hope it is good!
  7. I read the same article and I think I was a little bit confused
  8. Thank you, I will use the one from sprue F then, Thank you Paolo
  9. Hello all First an update, my model is progressing, it seems things have changed since last time I uploaded a picture, photobucket doesn't allow linking pictures anymore. The model is painted, and it just needs some touch ups before I mount the undercarriage. I have a question, which elevators? I have hasegawa elevators from frame F, with the camber and elevators from from G that look like they are trying to represent the slotted version. From my understanding F are the correct one, the question is, were the elevators so early to be flat and I need to straighten up them and remove the camber? Thank you Paolo
  10. The world is truly at an end if we finally will see an AMX from Italeri
  11. Sorry, I forgot to add it, 1/72 Thank you Paolo
  12. Hello All I have a stalled an AMI TF-104GM painted in the last grey camouflage, I have some decals for the markings but I am completely stuck for the correct stencils. I wrote to the owner of Tauro Model but it told me that he doesn't have enough info to create a set for the two seater. I know that sky models has a decal sheet but the stencils supplied are not the right ones. Does any of you know of other decals sheet available that may allow me to finish the project? Thank you very much Paolo
  13. For me minimum standard is that I don't have to replace parts because they are completely misshapen or that it fits where it touches. An example of basic kit that meet this standard is the 1/72 Airfix Spitfire PR XIX, quite basic, big trenches, but the shape is there and when assembled from the box is not too bad (no tailplanes at different height or longitudinally, all of it look as the same standard, not one wing fine line and the other big ones, etc etc) I am going by memory about the Spitfire, so I may be wrong. Paolo
  14. I disagree I think there should be a minimum standard, and giving a pass to a manufacturer because he produced a bad kit of a plane we like should not happen Paolo
  15. Yes I am waiting for that one too. They have most of the tools, just a new nose and some antennas, how many years in the catalogue now?
  16. No chances from my point of view. If they didn't do it when it was heavily used (Kossovo air campaign) no chance now that it is on its way out
  17. Thank you. exactly that, only 2 bombs on the outside to provide for clearance in the undercarriage.
  18. Thank you for all the suggestions. I have a Fujimi non- Spey Phantom kit, but it is 1000 km from me at the moment! Shame I didn't check it at xmas. I will have to fill the holes on the top of the wings I already did and cut the lumps on the bottom. Thank you very much, when it is a little more progressed I will post a couple of pictures here Paolo
  19. Hello All I am currently building an Hasegawa F-4B and I would like to finish it as an early VF-84 plane, when they had the flag on the tail instead of the full tail painted black. I have a few questions that I hope you can help me: in Osprey combat aircraft 116 US Navy F-4 units of the Vietnam war 1964-68 there is a profile of a jet that is very similar to the one I am planning to build, it is armed with MERs on the outer pylons , do you know of any aftermarket where I can get the pylons without the tanks? CAM 72-006 the decal sheet I would like to use, has newer ejection warning triangles with red center triangles, from all the pictures I saw of phantom of that era the triangles should be the first version, full of writing. Do you know where I can find a set in 1/72? Last question, from all the pictures I saw the 4 lumps on the underside of the wing, two just below the intakes and 2 at the back close to the flaps, should be removed for planes so early in the Phantom story, am I correct? Thank you Paolo
  20. I will only believe they released the kit when the kit will be in my hands, same as the HH-101
  21. Perfect choice of decals, I will definitely grab one
