  5. Sorry, here's a "PS" to my last post. This is an extract from the instructions for the OzMod's Vengeance correction kit: WHERE TO GET SOME HELPFUL REFERENCE MATERIAL ... Very few books have been produced on the Vultee Vengeance, although it does get passing mention in many publications. One title worth checking out is “VENGEANCE: The Vultee Vengeance Dive Bomber” by Peter C. Smith and published by Airlife. For a truly remarkable series of walk-around photographs (with incredible cockpit and other details in colour) you couldn’t find better than what you will see on the Aussie Modeller International website. Dannielle Lang has provided the much wanted images of the RAAF Vultee Vengeance EZ999 located at the Camden Museum of Aviation, located in New South Wales, Australia. (This is the only known complete example of the Vengeance in existence.) Don’t hesitate, go to it now at http://aussiemodeller.com.au/pages/History/Aircraft/Lang_Vengeance.html The Camden Museum's website is http://www.camdenmuseumofaviation.com.au/ AND A WORD OF THANKS ... Products such as this seldom just happen. Someone, somewhere, causes them to become reality. And the someone in this case is retired RAAF tech and high school educator, Robin Maxy-Fisher, who now spends his days working on projects such as this and helping maintain historic aircraft (such as Bert Hinkler’s famous Avro Baby). And he’s lucky to do this from his home in a kind of sub-tropical paradise ... the coastal town of Bargara in Queensland, Australia. Also, special thanks to Gary Byk and Dick Hourigan of Red Roo Models in Australia, who supplied a lot of technical information and drawings.
  6. No worries, Steve. I did take it as a grudge against OzMods, but thanks for the explanation. Haven't a clue who "Mr Scott" is, and assure you he has nothing to do with OzMods. When our Rob Fisher did his visit and measuring exercise a couple of years back, he and OzMods were thoroughly appreciative for the assistance and co-operation received from the Camden Air Museum. Rob was particularly grateful for a couple of your folk who went well out of their way to assist him ... including holding the other end of the tape for him! We were only too happy to acknowledge your museum's efforts to help us in the instructions for our Vengeance fuselage correction kit - and to do our bit in promoting your museum by way of recommendations and web site links, etc. On an accompanying note, seeing as AZ has reissued its 1/48 Vengeance, we will also be reissuing our correction fuselage (with a few tweets). Our product has been out of production for the last six months, and I wondered why we were getting a sudden increase in back orders for it.
  7. OzMods also do the nacelle correction upgrade for the C-130J. Apart from the 4 nacelles, the set also includes four spinners, four vent doors and 24 (usually packed with a couple of extra) simitar blades. See details at http://www.ozmods-kits.com/ozmods-conversions-upgrades-accessories-172
  8. Steve: Little bit confused about your comments. Can you please explain what "merrily slapping them on every site he can find" means, and also let me know what sites you refer to. And who was it that requested another visit?
  9. OzMods has released its latest 120 mm WWII figure (sculpted by Phil Walden). It is titled "River Crossing" - and is an Aussie digger (with Owen Gun) wading across a river in New Guinea. It's an unusual concept (from mid waist with "water" base). Price is Aus$55 plus post. See it at www.ozmods-kits.com
