Sorry, here's a "PS" to my last post. This is an extract from the instructions for the OzMod's Vengeance correction kit:
WHERE TO GET SOME HELPFUL REFERENCE MATERIAL ...
Very few books have been produced on the Vultee Vengeance, although it does get passing mention in many publications. One title worth checking out is “VENGEANCE: The Vultee Vengeance Dive Bomber” by Peter C. Smith and published by Airlife.
For a truly remarkable series of walk-around photographs (with incredible cockpit and other details in colour) you couldn’t find better than what you will see on the Aussie Modeller International website. Dannielle
Lang has provided the much wanted images of the RAAF Vultee Vengeance EZ999 located at the Camden Museum of Aviation, located in New South Wales, Australia. (This is the only known complete example of
the Vengeance in existence.) Don’t hesitate, go to it now at http://aussiemodeller.com.au/pages/History/Aircraft/Lang_Vengeance.html The Camden Museum's website is http://www.camdenmuseumofaviation.com.au/
AND A WORD OF THANKS ...
Products such as this seldom just happen. Someone, somewhere, causes them to become reality. And the someone in this case is retired RAAF tech and high school educator, Robin Maxy-Fisher, who now spends his days working on projects such as this and helping maintain historic aircraft (such as Bert Hinkler’s famous Avro Baby). And he’s lucky to do this from his home in a kind of sub-tropical paradise ... the coastal town of Bargara in Queensland, Australia. Also, special thanks to Gary Byk and Dick Hourigan of Red Roo Models in Australia, who supplied a lot of technical information and drawings.
