Yeah, it's around 100% right now. And the heat index is into the 100's. I go outside and just instantly start sweating. The air feels like it is suffocating you.

Here in Alabama, it's extremely humid. So having one of these is an absolute must. I accumulated a good bit of moisture in just the 20 minutes I used my airbrush.

What can I say? I'm a big vf-101 fan. Always liked the grim reaper marking on the tails of those beautiful Tomcats. Also like the Jolly Rogers.

I find it's the small things in life that make me the happiest. People can spend their whole lives waiting for that one, perfect moment that they don't realize that good things are happening every day.

Just got a pay raise. I get payed on a production based payscale, so I have the potential to earn up to $20 an hour now. Which isn't really hard to achieve if I stay busy.

Just for kicks -- Do335 Arrow as a Reno Air Racer

Fantastic! I had the same idea with the Martin Baker mb-5. -
Getting to go home after work and not deal with people.😁

As much as I would love to see this happen, it wouldn't be for me. 1/144 is already going to be big enough. That is if the announced kit from Revell ends up being released.

I'm a lot more excited now that we have actual plastic to look at. At first, I was sceptical that this model would be released this year. I'm sure this was a pretty big undertaking for the kit manufacturer. Regardless, I can finally get rid of my four AMT kits. Or I might keep them and build them alongside the modelcollect kit...... Nah, Me thinks I need to make room for this one and the H model.

Wait. What??? Kind of seems way left field for them to release a B-24 in 1/32. One would think that HK would release one first since they already have the B-25 and the upcoming Lancaster. But excited nonetheless. Still waiting on a 1/32 A-26 Invader.

Very ambitious schedule. Nice to see the heavies getting some new found love. Although 1/72 isn't my scale, I'll definitaly be picking up one of these when it is released.

Will be watching this one for sure! It's going to be a monster when finished!

I know this is an old topic, but i just recently bought one that had some damage. The tip of the tail was broken off and was bent. Also, the right stabilizer was bent. Did you have any damage to yours? -
the legendary a-1h monogram 48sc kit w.i.p
GRIM REAPER replied to Davide Calzolari's topic in Work in Progress - Aircraft
Very nice! I love seeing what can be done with these old monogram kits! -
I don't know how well the HK B-17 and B-25 is selling, so I can't really tell if there is a market for another large scale kit. Although I see enough of them being built here on britmodeller that at least a few people are buying them. Let's not forget that there's also a 1/32 Lancaster coming out. I would hope that for these large scale kits to come out, the owner of this company sees the potential sales. And, not everyone is savvy to building vacs. Not everyone is a scratch building master that most of these vacs require. I would love to see a 1/32 liberator and marauder. But that's me.

A 1/72nd C-17 Globemaster III - the hard way
GRIM REAPER replied to tomprobert's topic in Work in Progress - Aircraft
That gloss is like glass! Any thought as to which decals you are going to use? Markings? I can't wait to see more progress! -
Really nice! I'm in the middle of putting together the new F-86D and I find that the ejector pin marks are really bad on this kit. There's a half round rod of plastic on just about every single one of them. I'm really interested to see how this kit goes together.

On the dymo tape, you can cut through it about half way. That should give you enough flex to scribe curbs. Works wonders on top fuselage panel lines.
