Academy 1/48 Sikorsky CH-53E Super Stallion
GRIM REAPER replied to Jon Bryon's topic in Ready for Inspection - Aircraft
Incredible work as always, Jon! Although it put up a fight, you managed to tackle the problems head on and produce another stunning model! It was a real treat to follow this build on facebook and see your hard work come together! -
F-104 G Starfighter / TBD scheme / 1/48 / Kinetic

Looking really good! I had a lot of trouble with the intakes on mine for some reason. Other than that, it builds into a really good model! Have you decided on a marking option? That Norwegian plane on the first sheet looks pretty darn good! -
I don't know how much more my bank account can take with all of these awesome upcoming releases! Was pretty excited with the forthcoming 1/48 kits. Now this. I might have to stick with 1/48, though, as I'm quickly running out of room!

Art Scale make some really nice razor saws and they come in a variety of sizes and shapes. I get mine from spruebrothers. -

It looks like there are pics of a test shot up on the ICM facebook page. This thing is huge! -

My wallet is going to start screaming at me with all of these new releases! -
I've been waiting for this to come out for a good while, now. Now that they released the earlier versions first, hopefully they go ahead and release these.

Wow! Good to see a new tool! I just hope the engines are better detailed than the 1/32 kit. Not a deal breaker for me as there are always aftermarket. Honestly, I'm surprised to see Hobbyboss doing it. I would have thought that HKM would have gotten to it first after the success they had with the B-17 and B-25 kits, but, I'm happy nonetheless!

1/48 - Lockheed-Martin F-35A & B Lightning II by Tamiya - released
GRIM REAPER replied to Homebee's topic in The Rumourmonger
I just started my kit and the fit is just incredible! On par if not a bit better than the Phantom. And the details in the weapons bays are some of the best I have ever seen outside of resin! I normally don't build my kits with weapons, mainly because I hate putting together ordnance, but I may have to make an exception for this one! -

1/48 - Martin B-26B Marauder by ICM - released
GRIM REAPER replied to Homebee's topic in The Rumourmonger
Very good news! As they have done a good job with the Invader kits, I have more faith in ICM pulling this off than any other manufacturer and I can only hope they do the short wing variants as well. -

Absolutely beautiful! I believe this is the first one I have seen built. Too bad she was scrapped as I think the ABL would be quite relevant in these times. -
1/48 - Lockheed-Martin F-35A & B Lightning II by Tamiya - released

It being a Tamiya kit, I have absolutely no doubt that it will be fantastic to build. The incredible precision in their F-4B kit is how high the bar has been set in my opinion.
