  1. The cockpit is different, also. F-14D has more MFDs. F-14A has a HUD that used the inner side of the windscreen to project the imagery. F-14D had a new HUD with its own projection glass. And F-14B was updated with the SparrowHawk HUD from 2003 onwards. Maybe you want to take a look here: http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234910566-tomcats-101-article/
  2. Wow, thank you very much for your fast answers!! Well, I see that this is an open matter and that there is no definitive answer to my question. I will follow your advice and paint it with the Dark Earth/Mid-Stone scheme. It will took a while. I am a slow modeller and I am still detailing the cockpit! Again, thank you very much for your help. And thank you also for the welcome! Regards.
  3. Hello, This is my first post here, and I write you to ask for help. I am building Tamiya 1/48 Bristol Beaufighter Mk.VI. I would like to build a model of Beaufighter Mk.VIf V8502 of 46 Squadron in North Africa in 1943. There is a profile in the Modeller's Datafile dedicated to the Bristol Beaufighter, showing a Dark Earth and Mid Stone camuflaje with Night undersides. I have the decals from Kits At War for this aircraft. But the instructions say that the scheme is Medium Sea Grey and Dark Green. Instructions and profile only agree in the Night undersides. Can anyone confirm which camuflage could be the correct one? Both of them seem possible to me. At the end it was a night fighter deployed in North Africa. I'm afraid I am no expert in Second World War British aviation, though. Photographs of this airplane would be welcomed, also. Thank you! Pedro
