  1. Thanks a lot Murdo Thank you Redshift I do like the scale 1:64 and as you say the lines on here are lovely you should give it a go, have used different wood here and there also made all the eye bolts etc etc. Regards Richard

Hi Steve, sorry I think my post as been taken in a wrong contexts, have looked at many amazing wip ship builds and 99% have been plastic or resin so my question was am I on the right site for wooden ship build and you have answer brilliantly thanks for your reply I think Britmodeller is a fantastic site so sorry to have you thought it was something else.   6. Was in Nanaimo Weds night looking at the Snowbirds show which they had over the harbour and saw these tugs wondering if it is the same thing under the water line. Regards Richard
  7. Hi Pat never tried this blue stuff but have used Smooth-On to do some casting they do have a starter kit which might be a better option. Regards Richard

Small update, finished the Main Boom with adding the bullseye fairlead for topping lift and adding the rope eye for lazy jack line Machined the bullseyes out of boxwood This is how I did the rope work Rope eye Also finished making the Main Gaff by adding the stop chocks for peak halliard bridles, then added 10 stop chocks then added band with two eyes for topsil sheet block and eye for flag halliard, also added top sail sheet eyebolt last thing was to make a 1/8" shackle to join the two links for throat halliad linkage next up will be making the Fore Boom, Fore Gaft and Jumbo Jib Boom Until next time Regards Richard
