  1. Very nice finish on that, what paints did you use?
  2. Lovely job, and a great car in real life, bet you wish your own garage was that clean though
  3. Fiddly, hard to describe, but they moulded the strake as part of the intake
  4. Having said that about the Italeri kit, I would be remiss in not warning you about getting the Heller Intakes together neatly, you will see what I mean when you study the kit 🙄😃
  5. I recommend you don't get the Italeri kit, the wing sweep is off, very obvious when you put it beside the Heller kit
  6. Wonderful output, really great models, love the DC6
  7. The markings threw me for a second, not being able to discern the blue at first, but love it, really well done
  8. This is some outstanding modelling, and oh how we need a decent MkXIV
  9. Really great job on that. on a side note, you have bought back to life a Modelling Company that existed for only a nano second, and not sure if this was not their only ever kit. I do know I tried to get it back in the '70's, but had no luck in those pre internet days.
  10. I'm about to get back into this one Pat, life has been throwing lemons, but I'm getting there
  11. That interior is way more sophisticated than what Airfix supplied (nothing), very nice indeed.
  12. Great job on the CRJ, like your base boards as well, especially the runway/taxiway ones
  13. Nice, were the decals part of the kit options?
  14. Yes been with the Mirage SIG for at least 3 years, met those who were there in 2017, which was my last visit to Telford
  15. Actually 5 Metres would not be enough, most don't understand that they are faster than man on dry land, 50 Metres is safer, so long as you are carrying a grenade (not legal these days, bloody sissies) there are possibly some less than 5 kilometres from me, but would never venture here, and there are a lot of houses between me and them, it's not like they wander down the street.
  16. Moving at a slower than glacial pace, despite the extension that Santa Enzo has given us, I doubt I will get this over the finish line, suffering from mojo retardation, but carrying on as best I can. So, needed to put the Tailplanes on before I put the fuselage together, so I needed to drill out the place for the tab to go through, so used a hand drill and gang drilled oh what a pain. Decided that drilling and filing out to get them to fit was just a waste of time, so decided to go the industrial method as the plastic is very thick in this area, did this in about 5 mins compared to the hour I spent on the hand drill method. I need someone to tell me now what angle the tailplanes are set at. I can't decide if I will open up under the tailplanes, but I'm thinking that life is too short and can't figure how I would achieve it anyway with the thickness of the plastic, so doubt it will get done. I might look at maybe cutting it out with a Dremel, or the current preferred method, maybe just ignore it. I note that @Trickyricky21 says the starter vents are Square, the HPM resin has round holes, anyone have close up photo?
  17. Well I can't belive tat it has taken me this long to get anything done on this my modelling is really slowing down, and I need to get a bit more pro active I started putting decals on and for those of you who don't understand what it's like living in the tropics a couple of photos that may explain a little first up is the Sun being dead overhead, when it's on it's way to a rendezvous with the line on the surface that represents the Tropic of Capricorn, this was taken a few weeks ago, my apologies for being late, and of course it shows the solar clothes dryer that was installed about 65 years ago, shows how ahead of the times we were. The second one is something that happens every so often, and is not a major concern most of the time, but it's good to get a warning so one can keep an eye out when walking the dog on the beach. This is about 100 meters (yards if you prefer) from my home.
  18. Yikes, I'm way behind on this one. I almost once applied for a Charles Atlas course, but failed, so remained the wimpy kid. What a fabulous collection of early Airliners that you have done. Your prolific modelling is a thing of beauty, and supports my theory the more you make the better and quicker you can do them, but these days I slip so far behind so fast I wonder where the time went, but following this one, and amazingly I didn't know of the existence of this Sierra Scale Models kit, my memory must be failing.
  19. Outstanding modelling and Photography, really shows off the model to perfection, I love them all, and great work on some golden oldies in that lot the Bloch 174 is a winner for me. Now I must get back to my Mirages.
