  2. Hey everyone, For somereason I couldn't post my pics but if you go to IPMS you can see my pics of a T-55 Iranian Marder type vehicle using a M-46 130mm gun enjoy
  3. The Iraqi Airforce has a bunch of MI-8's or MI-17's I don't know which but the scheme is pretty cool. As soon as I can figure out how to download pics for you all I will.
  4. I'm with a Stryker brigade from Lewis. Tell your son-in-law to keep his head down. And thanks for your service too.

  5. thanks guys, Like the UK army soldiers I've worked with the Queens Guards and soldiers from the Princess of Wale's Royal Reg. All in all pretty good bunch of guys.
  6. ICV, what unit are you with..? Us, UK, Other.??

We support your mission whatever it is...I was in the US Navy during the Viet-Nam Era. My son-in-law is currently in Afganistan with the 82nd Airborn..so we have a blue star in the window till he gets back home.

    God Bless,

  7. Hey everyone, I picked up a Roden OV-1D Mohawk. Felt like converting it to a airtanker but the tank I bought won't work go figure. Guess I will have to go buy an F7F for that. Then I had a thought (don't tell my wife), why not turn it into a lead aircraft like the OV-10's that the CDF already use now. It should look really good when finished. Will take awhile have to figure out how to get paint sent to me as I'm in Iraq with the Army.
  8. I have lots of pics of Iraqi armor that I took when I was there and can get more at the FOB that I'm at. Lots of Russian equipment, some French Arty, Cheiftan, Challenger, Scimitar from the Brits. If any one want those pics let me know thanks.
  9. Colin, thanks for the help. The thing I don't like is being in Iraq and having to wait on paint and other stuff that I need. Heard the struts don't hold up to the weight, should I get the aftermarket struts? the only thing I don't like is no pilot/observer what do you recomend? thanks Darin
  10. I'm working on a Mohawk basing it after the OV-10's used by the CDF out in California. My question is what is the best way to get rid of the join lines when you put the fueselage together. This kit's plastic seems alittle soft to me. Havn't built an AC since the late 80's.
