  1. A very belated 'thank you' to Mike and V-P for your comments Well I've finally got round to making a start on the T34. Wheels assembled along with the lower hull. I must admit that I don't really like tidying up 'round things' as they usually end up being less round then when I started..... These weren't too bad, although one idler wheel is poorly moulded (thankfully effecting only the back face). As V-P mentioned, the lower hull needs some fettling to get a good fit with the top. The little notches that I cut out at the top of where the glacis sits, seem to do the trick (thanks also to Sgt Squarehead for this tip ). More to follow soon. Cliff

  10. Oh dear , it's the end of the GB and my S-61L looks like this I can make all sorts of excuses regarding what has happened over the last couple of weeks to prevent me from completing (all of which would be true), but the root problem was my spur-of-the-moment decision to do an unplanned second build in the Lesser Built Air Forces GB back in Feb...... So my apologies for not bringing this one in on time and congratulations to all of you who did . I will finish the S-61 in due course though and post some piccies in RFI. Big thanks to hgbn and Kwaterous for hosting the GB, and to Mish for making it all happen - without it, the bits for this S-61 would still be languishing at the back of my stash somewhere. Special thanks also to all of you who helped and encouraged me with the build. I feel that my education is complete now that I know what's kept in a Sea King's broom cupboard! Cliff
