Having the two builds to compare, will be good.

Welcome back Stuart, with another icon of the age. Have you decided on the scheme yet? Cheers

1/144 Airfix BOAC VC10 & BA BAC1-11
CliffB replied to Back in the Saddle's topic in Baby Boomers GB 1946-1964
I agree with @Corsairfoxfouruncle on both counts. My interpretation of '% complete' relates to man-hours effort (rather than number of parts assembled). Cheers -
Huma-Modell Fieseler Fi 5 / Fi 5 R, 1/72
CliffB replied to JOCKNEY's topic in The Golden Age Of Transport GB
Well done Pat. I love these old Huma kits - I've built a few, but never the Fieseler -
I didn't see this one coming either Dennis! A really good choice .

It's hard to tell. The damaged building looks more dramatic though...

Tim's Airfix 1/76 Bloodhound - COMPLETED
CliffB replied to theplasticsurgeon's topic in Baby Boomers GB 1946-1964
Nice one Tim -
Hi all. It's been over a month since I last picked this up, but with a couple of other completions in the meantime, the C-47 is now top of my 'to do' pile. All parts have been cleaned up and assembled (the props and u/c's are still loose), and I'm ready to paint. Not surprisingly, I have indeed managed to knock off the two top antennae, but luckily the bits underneath are still hanging in there Cheers

Nice work with the decals 👍 -
Welcome from me too AW!

CA works really well on resin (epoxy probably does too), provided you've removed any residual release agent/grease first. A gentle scrub in warm soapy water should do it. Cheers

Airfix 1/72 Mig-17F 'Fresco' - A mojo busting quick build???
CliffB replied to Davek72's topic in Baby Boomers GB 1946-1964
Sorry to hear this Dave -
A great choice Mark and good luck with your new cockpit glazing. By chance I was watching a video on Imperial Airways yesterday and the local logistics required to allow these planes to serve the far reaches of the British Empire were mind blowing! Cheers

Curtiss Condor by Glencoe: Nose Sorted
CliffB replied to Old Man's topic in The Golden Age Of Transport GB
A fabulous choice James. I know they're not relevant to your build, but I'm loving those enormous skylights on the bomber version Cheers
