  2. Starting to come together now. Cant wait to get my workbench back
  3. .Just a little update. Some battle damage I did to the cloak generator.
  4. I've been putting this bit of the build off as long bottom I could. I think there's over a hundred of these to paint. Very tedious.
  5. Here's the inner support piece I made so the weight is transferred up from the Bird Of Prey's resin hull to the aluminum sub frame.
  6. Update on the illuminated engine area of the big Bird Of Prey I'm working on. http://vid186.photobucket.com/albums/x232/Neo-uk/Engine_zpsbyv6tvlw.mp4
  7. I think I've got enough of these green bits now to make a big bottom Bird Of Prey. Time to start putting all the sub-assembly's together.
  8. This is the Arduino powered lighting unit that I'm going to use for the bird of prey engines. It will have more leds. http://vid186.photobucket.com/albums/x232/Neo-uk/VIDEO0069_zpsufzvyx2m.mp4
  9. I worked out a way of getting power up through the support rod.
  10. I've scratchbuilt some detail pieces to go into the six vents on the back of mine, and wondered if anyone would be interested in a set if I cast some more up ? They're not accurate to the filming model but once they're under some mesh or photoetch I think they look cool enough. Better pics of the detail pieces I've built to go into the six vents on the back of the Falcon. £20 inc postage, if anyone's interested in a set They're not accurate to the filming model but once they're under some mesh or photoetch I think they look cool enough.
  11. Here's another picture so you can size the size of this thing better.
  12. Warren I cant find the into darkness lighting kit on your website.
  13. This is what you start out with for the neck , and the second picture is what I ended up with once I'd poured glue all over the parts and just rolled them together.....(Obviously I'm joking) I added the parts in front of the tube myself to make the area a bit more "busy" looking. BOP, Here's one of the first parts of the lighting that needs doing on this and the results after bit of soldering and gluing. It's much redder in real life
  14. Here's some pictures of the wing tip guns. I used solder to join the brass parts together.
  15. As the title suggests I'm building a rather large Klingon Bird Of Prey model. I've had this build going for quite some time but forgot to put it on here so you've got some catching up to do. Here's one picture to give you an idea of size.
  16. This is looking great. Are these kits still avaiable ?

    Humbrol Help

I need help, I got some Humbrol Clear Red (1321) the other day from the local model shop to spray the Ironman I'm working on. Anyway I've sprayed one arm and shoulder but when I brought another of same from Hobby craft it turns out it's a different colour and not very clear at all I've checked the number on the top and bottom and it's the same, the only difference I can see is the Humbrol label, one's blue and white and the other one is mostly gray. Anyone know whats happened.
