Hi. For painting i used the xtracolor ename, because even with the washing of oil paints give excellent color rendering. Exactily, markings are from Hannants Xtradecal. Only aftermarket detai used, the mainwheels BarracudaStudios. -
My passion for aircraft of the Royal Navy made me do another little craziness ... but fun !! Fulvio

Contrary to what was thought until a few years ago, many Japanese aircraft were not just gray, but this color, was covered with a clear protective varnish from caramel color, which gave him this particular finish. In Japanese, this protection was called "ame-iro". To accomplish this I used the color of the White Ensign enamel. That from what I saw during my research, came closest to the original color as possible. I hope to check out was helpful. greetings

For so little! I'm happy to check out was good, but from what I have seen on this forum, but I still have much to learn!

And a book that gave me great inspiration, and above all a great book, one of the best ever on the Japanese naval aviation during the Second World War

The panels were painted with black dell'Humbrol, to see if there were parts missing. Then, indeed, I realized that this technique can enhance the panels in aircraft that have monochromatic colors. Sometimes some simple techniques created to randomness.

Another interesting model. Congratulations on the result. I should have double the free time and at least two lives, to build all the models that I like seen on this forum! -
Good model. Made me want to do an aggressor of the Navy!

I was particularly impressed by those who should have used some of Val, during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbour. So, a year ago, I built the aircraft of the Air Soryu, 1 Chutai Shotai 21, and piloted by Takashige Egusa. The kit is Hasegawa scale 48 with the addition of the set for the cockpit, and mobile surfaces CMK. Photogravures of Eduard and small parts made by me. I am sure that the model will raise conflicting opinions, but to make a model so special, made me overcome many doubts I had. I hope that you enjoy and are open to any comments. Greetings to all. Fulvio

Nice work. Clean and well built. -
Of which I am very satisfied, especially the difficulties of fitting that I had to overcome. The kit and the Swordfish in the 1 / 48 scale MDC.Qualche years ago I also managed to bring it to Thelford to participate in the exhibition, even though I placed with another model. I hope you like it, for me, almost like a son (my oldest daughter has her age) I apologize for some pictures, but photos were scanned from old prints. Greetings to all.
