Well for the interior color I used Tamiya XF-23 light blue , mixed with two other colors for the Russian interior blue. For the life of me I can't remember what the other two colors used to make it I am happy with the results !

I used Tamiya IJN Dark Green XF-70, painted the detail , then air brushed future floor wax. After the future dried i did a black oil wash. Flat coated the parts and dry brushed silver for the wear .

Starfighters forever !
Decided to get back on these projects and get them close to being ready for primer. Going for the really faded look. The Danish AF never really maintained the paint on the jets they flew, much later they did do some new paint work. For most part they just faded .
Starfighters forever !
Well here is what i got done so far on both kits. Lets just say it takes allot of dry fitting ,part super glue and Tamiya glue and three hands to get both airframes together . Now the fun part, sanding and the fine clean up

GREAT job on the F-111, that really turned out sweet :). I remember seeing allot of Upper Heyford varks in the 80's We was stationed at RAF Lakenheath from 83-63. My dad was crewchief on the F-111 with the 492TFS. I really miss the F-111. I plan on building a bunch of 111's from lakenheath and Upper Heyford. Thanks for sharing a great build and great jet !!!!

I used Tamiya water base paints. I just thinned them down and airbrushed at 10-15 psi. I had to do a few touch ups, happy with how it came out. Hope this answers your ?
