  1. Our beloved models are categorized as "toys". But toys do not fall under the sanctions against the RF.
  2. The simple reason: In Seoul (Neighbor Hobby Shop) an Eduard Zero 21 or P-51D sells for € 77.00. (Dual Combo!)
  3. simply compare pricing of these kits in Korea and japan! An Academy Zero is even well worth in Europe!
  4. A6M2, F4F and P-51D in 48th. Academy takes up competition with Eduard. This makes sense in Asian markets where Eduard kits are most expensive, comparable to Asian kits here in Europe. World economic disintegration mirrors here. The Il-2 will be the AccMin kit? Wonderful boxart (Must Have)! The view is East, the road is "Unter den Linden". Reichstag would be to left on the edge of the catalogue. Directly right of Brandenburg Gate is Hotel Adlon. Where you see the 72nd F-14 is todays US-Embassy. In the area of the tailplane is the UK-Embassy on Wilhelmstraße which is perpendicular to Unter den Linden. On the left edge of the boxart on Pariser Platz we find the French-Embassy. (sorry, felt like giving this info would be helpfull).
  5. I hope it is correct in outline. (surface second, detail third)
  6. The appearance of GELBOLIVE had an unbelievable wide range with hues from something like fresh WWII USAAF OD (found on VW buses or Ford Transits fresh from the production line) down to this worn out greyish blue shade shown in the model.
  7. so there is still some hope that they refrain from doing 1/32 F-111, Mirage F.1 or Viggen.
  8. Any variant of BiG Ts latest a/c (109, Spit, P-38, F-14, F-4) would have been well perceived.

  10. 100%, as the Revell kit is kind of rebox what was made by ACE (Southkorea).
  11. I thank for every day I do not hear any news from these two. Imagine the new and long awaited F-111, both in 48th and in 32nd, was announced by them and not by ...... . .... and all the other gaps.
  12. " Who knows, Italeri may surprise me... I'll believe when I see it....." the 1/32 Alpha Jet, first boxing in British and Canadian markings......
  13. out in Europe: bought mine from Plast Model PL on Fri, should arrive on Tue. (already sold out there) showed available @ mn-modelar , maybe also other eshops.
  14. Berlin Brigade marking option and boxart ist a must.
  15. News series of Mossies in 48,3 boxings, each one contains single and two stage Merlins.
  16. Tail fin cap: I discovered that issue in time and could line up the correct sweep and reduce the overhang. An alternative is the fin cap from the Academy kit which fits rather well. Shame on Eduard for selling that quality!
  17. Hopefully a new 1/32 Bf 109 G, less complex and detailled than ZM but please, double price! 😉
  18. www.modellbau-koenig.de/Hersteller/Wingnut-Wings still something available...
  19. Superb Build!!!!! (please, have a look at the leading edge sweep angel of the tail fin, different on Tamiya plastic part and BRASSIN part!)
  20. In face of the rapidly developing 3D-detailing sector it might become a miss by Revell to stay with the classic PE parts in the premiere version of the Meteor. It might be a chance to introduce this technique into the mass market. I think this aspect is more important than discussing how many parts there will be. Happy New Year, esp. to Largescale 😊 be
  21. ......kit has 400 parts..... (or alike). This sentence is not true. The kit does not exist. Nor does the design. A correct sentence can be: The kit shall/will/should/would have this or that number of parts. Most near to truth is: The kit is estimated to have around so and so many parts. Please, feet on the ground (both!!).
  22. Fan Cheng Pin has started the test build (facebook): www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=935732164058088&set=pcb.935732367391401
