Why this "game"? As I understood it is not about suggestions for future projects but about something that is in tooling/tooling completed or even with release being imminent. So whatever one will guess - it will not change anything on reality - or help changing reality. In conclusio: PURE marketing. My hope goes for a 1/35 (even better 1:36) Spitfire or series of 1:64 Messerschnitzels

Airfix 1/72 Messerschmitt Me.410 Hornisse - Surprise release! - New tool
ABeck replied to alt-92's topic in The Rumourmonger
Al ways felt the trailing edge angel of the 1/48 RM kit being to flat. With the help of mmy Infinity I projected the (due to LIDAR correct) AX 410 fuselage and enlarged it with 150% . In compare the RM fuselage: -

1/48 - Lockheed-Martin F-35A & B Lightning II by Tamiya - released
ABeck replied to Homebee's topic in The Rumourmonger
received mine yesterday from MBK, the preorder batch was sold out immediatly, next batch will be in very soon. -
(C)S-199s as well as Hispano 109s will be welcome even with 25% price increase over legacy 109s. Also no reason to hesitate with (C)S-92 and its predecessors. ......And btw: Where the P-40s the only subjects being LIDARed in summer...?....

Airfix 1/72 Messerschmitt Me.410 Hornisse - Surprise release! - New tool

The LIDAR based design shall/should result into correct angels of the leading and/or trailing edges of the tailplane. From my view this is the mot eye catching issue of the 1/48th RM kit whose molds are (hopefully) slumbering in Bünde (c`on Revell UK, wake ´em up). Mine is ordered. Thank you Airfix. Another great choice. Scale...? ....hmm! -
Instead of the Ju 87 a S-92 & Co. series would make more sense, closer to domestic aircraft industry, and something wonderful to replace the (well fitting, fine detailed but with some outline error) Tamiya 262, and with slats.......

OK, I was just kidding, sorry. But some years ago Raymond Chung rather bluntly considered doing some iconic F-planes. They are eversellers. I would consent to it - as long as decisive ideas (parts break, canopy front) and detail is on pair with Tam´s kit - apart from the price.

Yes, Fine Molds with a new 1/48 F-4 line, what a nice idea.

Things to look at: -Is the plastic landing gear leg corrected ? The metal BRASSIN legs for the G version look quite good. -Has some design change be done to the attachment of the legs to the airframe in order to get the right angles (like Tamiya or the ED 72nd kit) ? -Has the left side engine cowling been corrected ? Eagerly awaiting the real plastic !
