  1. Great to see this progressing Chris. I really must start my 1/32 version of VH-AMY that I built in 1/72 for the Tigermoth GB here a few years ago. Max - As Chris said, get that Tigermoth of yours going again :)
  2. No probs at all Max and ta from the response. I look forward to seeing how you go mate. Cheers
  3. Hi mate. That is looking very nice so far. I love the hoses you've done. They look great. Keep it up and I hear you re life getting in the way Max- Not to hijack Chris's thread but what is the problem you're having with the Gaspatch turnbuckles? Ta mate
  4. Well done mate. That has turned out very nice indeed
  5. What I did with my build was cut the whole strut assy from the sprue then cut carefully, with sprue cutters, those 'X' supports out. I then cleaned the struts up with a sharp blade. I glued the cabane struts to the top wing then glued the top wing to the fuselage. Once this was all dry, I was able to slip the interplane struts between the wings very carefully with no mishaps. I have quite a few more to build and the couple of little issues certainly won't be putting me off building them Here she is
  6. Well done to everyone on a cracker GB. Congrats to Andrew on the win mate. Bloody outstanding models you built too. I'm glad Paul J (and a very generous gesture I might add) had to pick cos there's no way I could've. Well done to the mods as well. Like I said in a previous post, I've really enjoyed this, my first GB and building with some top blokes. Once life settles down I can see a few more GB's in my future. For those that didn't get their models finished, who cares. Keep working on them because I for 1 want to follow your progress. It's all about having fun and meeting some like minded guys and I'm glad to say I've managed that. Oh and bring on the next Tiger Moth GB
  7. Looks great there Chris. And an awesome effort considering you're brush painting
  8. Brilliant work there Alex. Very well done mate
  9. Coming along nicely Max. I've been in PNG recently so haven't been able to keep up with goings on. The Tigers are looking bloody amazing. I agree that the end result is more important than a time constraint. Keep up the great work
  10. Great work mate. That has come up very nicely. I hear you about the struts. I actually removed that centre sprue beforehand and fitted my struts individually with no hassles. I did this cos I probaly would've screwed up cutting it off with the struts glued on
  11. Love the colour mate. Hope the job search is bearing fruit for you
